Science on the Ball

Reed Richards, aka Mister Fantastic, looked at the sample before him in the hyper microscope. He was speaking to Tony Stark about the outbreak. An outbreak the both of them were affected by. Tony asked a question, "So what's up with the Spider Flu this time? Why is it affecting everyone instead of just those wthout Superpowers? How long do we got before we become the ending of IT and the Lost in Space movie?"

"Fortunately, we have no worry about that last one. The Virus seemed to have been designed to keep the subject at the previous virus' stage one. Just the powers of Spider-man. The problem is that it is much harder to remove those changes. Seems like whoever had modified this virus had been looking for a way to permanently graft the powers of Spider-man onto people. Even those with powers."

"Well, other then having a harder time for Spidey to get into fights what is the major problems we're facing?" asked the other man.

"The Spider-DNA is likely to affect and be affected by any altered or unusual DNA. Causing new forms of current powers or even new powers. The Anti-Venom cure is also going to have little to no effect. It seems whoever created this virus knew that would be the first thing we do. I'll see what I can do for a cure. We don't know the long term physical or mental effects of the virus. We might be seeing the tip of the iceberg in changes.

Meanwhile in the Richards-Storm Bedroom...

Sue had gotten use to the powers pretty quickly, given her own powers and her experiences working with Spidey. Seeing the stock footage on the television and online, she had felt the temptation. So she had decided to create her own Spider Persona, using technology to design and make her own Spider-costume.

'At worst, it might be fun to use for role play during sex.' she thought to herself, not noticing her fantasies had a lot more women and Spidey and a lot less of her husband.
