Land as best you can.

Instead of the feeling of grass or soil at your feet, you instead feel the pickling of leaves and the poking of branches all over your body. With quick reflexes, you grab onto something behind you while keeping hold of Fava's hand at the same time. Delphi takes off into the air, while the two of you manage to safely albeit uncomfortable descent down through the foliage around you to finally land safe and sound. It isn't the entrance, but it must not be far. Though as you look around yourself, there are only trees in every direction. It's difficult to see at all due to the dense canopy above blocking out all but minimal rays of sunlight piercing between the leaves. Flowers blossom all around you, the grass is damp, birds sing out into a chorus that only adds onto the mysterious nature of a forest you already feel is watching your every move.

"That could have been worse, I guess," Fava says as she pucks a twig from her hair. "Whew. I feel dizzy, but that was pretty fun. Can we go again?"

"Only if you're good," you idly reply under your breath while your attention is mostly on scoping the area around you.

The Dark Fairy's heels tap onto the very center of your skull. "Let's just start walking. I'll let you know if I spy any Men's Bane."

"I don't know much about plants," Fava admits. "But if you want, I can randomly claim to see one anyway, just to get your hopes up."

Delphi cackles at that.

Maybe it was a mistake to bring both pixies along with me at the same time.

The three of you march, or it's more accurate to say you march while one flies and the other pilots a body that isn't her own. It may be dim and confusing in this maze of a forest, though at least you know you can rely on your Bunny Hop to get back out once you have what you need. That still doesn't help the fact that you don't truly know all that lurks in these woods. And as you continue to walk, your Kitty Sense tingles the back of your neck so often it becomes annoying. Your eyes keep being drawn in different directions only to see nothing at all, or at best, the movement of leaves above.

You're not sure if it's birds, other animals, or something else entirely. There's a good chance there are pixies around, monitoring you with curiosity, or even Delphi if they recognize her. Once in awhile, you swear you hear a giggle through the whispering breeze. Your improved senses help in reacting to attacks, as well as empathy, though what it doesn't seem to do is keep yourself exploring in a straight line while trying to maneuver through the tight squeeze of trees that feel as if their branches are reaching out to grab you. You start to worry you may have even passed where you've been before, though much of these woods look the same.

After pulling away a rather large branch to step over a bush of thistles, Delphi hangs down right in front of your face. The dress she wears barely holds in her goods as gravity does its best, though the only things dangling are her necklace and long hair. "Hey. I spotted a few. You're welcome."

"Finally. I feel like it's been almost half an hour already," you reply. "Where abouts?"

She pulls herself back up and then lifts off into the air. "Up this way," she says before stopping near a few blue bulbs which seem to grow from the trunk of the tree. They look like oversized blueberries, or flowers that have yet to bloom. Just as was said, they're about the size of apples, but upon close inspection, are clearly petals closed together to make a ball. "Careful now."

"I'll do my best," you say. With a delicate touch, you pluck one off. It feels like it wouldn't take much to squeeze it flat. You carefully place it into your pack, and then you do the same with a second one. "These are pretty neat, actually."

"Here's another," she says from behind.

You turn to face Delphi holding one in her arms directly in front of your eyes. The second you turn, you're blindsided by a cloud of thick, blue gas as she causes it to burst in her grasp. Though you immediately turn and cover your mouth and nose with your arm, it's already too late. You **** and gasp until it disperses from around your head, allowing you to once again turn angrily towards the floating fairy as she drops the remnants of the plant to the ground. She's laughing hard.

"And you said that wasn't poisonous, right?" you ask.

Still giggling, Delphi has to take a breath before she can speak. "It's fine, it's fine. Just having a little bit of fun."
