Dolls

Marlo and Jess enter their room and look around.

"It's smaller than I thought." Jess says causing Irene to laugh.

"That's what I said too. But it's cozy." Irene says from the doorway. Irene and I wait outside to give them more room inside.

"Yes, but as we told Irene, we're planning on getting a dormitory Built for the Guild. If everything goes as planned, it'll be finished before your trial period is over. So once it is, we can move you into it, and get you more space." Asami says causing Jess to smile. Marlo and Jess set down their bags and suitcases.

"Now mister, it's time for you to leave." Jess tells Marlo while gently pushing him toward the door. He smiles before walking out. "Asami right? Sorry, but could you leave the room please? I have a class I need to teach in about ten minutes. I need to get ready for it." Jess says and Asami nods with a smile.

"Of course, and here. If you need anything give me a call." Asami says while handing her another card with her number on it. It's now I wonder if she had some printed. She walks out with Marlo before Jess closes the door.

"Sorry about that. She likes everything to be perfect during her classes. So she's in a hurry to set up." Marlo says., and it's now I notice he's stopped hiding his horns.

"It's fine, we get it." I say before Irene looks at him.

"What weapon do you use? I attack from the rear with Ice magic, so it'll be helpful to know. But I'm mostly curious, I just like weapons." Irene asks.

"I use a spear or my hands. I have a wind spell that will engulf them in miniature tornados, so I can pack quite a punch with it."

"Really, I though Hybrids like yourself had more raw strength. Wouldn't a different weapon be better?"

"Maybe? I was raised by a man who used a spear. He trained me with it, and I've been using it almost my entire life. I wouldn't know what other weapon to use, let alone how to wield it." He says before looking around.

"Is there anyone else in these other rooms?" He asks while motioning to doors 3 through 7.

"No, not yet. We have five more members joining, but they won't get here tomorrow. You and Irene are the only ones who made it here so far." I reply before he suddenly snaps his fingers.

"Speaking of, where are the other members? You're Guild has eight, not including Irene and I right?"

"Yes, but Luna and Innu, the two you meet at the entrance, are the only others who could make it. We have a Sensor named Liz, but she's out at the moment. Our Alchemist Ramia, is busy with her research, and her parents are caring for their farm." Asami says while leading the way downstairs.

"Your Guild has a farm? I don't remember seeing anything about you owning a farm." Marlo asks in confusion while following Asami. We start walking down the stairs and back toward the entrance.

"It's in Eric's Domain. His Domain is rich in mana, so it's great for growing Alchemy ingredients. I should mention, Ramia's parents are the last two members of the Guild. They're quite skilled in Alchemy too, having worked for Elves for a few years before." Asami says causing Marlo to go wide-eyed.

"Really? I'm shocked Elves would buy from humans for so long. They tend to avoid humans as much as possible." Marlo says, more to himself, causing Irene to laugh.

"Just an FYI, Ramia is an Elf too." Irene says shocking Marlo more. We get back to the entrance and take a seat at a table. We set it out for visitors to wait just in case. Luna and Innu see us and come join us.

"Is Ramia like the other Elfs? All high and mighty?" Marlo asks Irene who shrugs.

"I don't know. I haven't seen her yet." Irene replies.

"Ramia's very shy." Luna says and Asami sighs.

"Yeah, but she'll need to meet you two. Master, could you try to convince her to meet them?" Asami asks and I nod before disappearing. I enter my Domain and walk upstairs. I knock on the door to the Alchemy lab and hear a voice. I can tell it's Ramia, but I can't tell what she said. A few moments later the door opens. I look to the person who opened the door, expecting to see Ramia and see a person no bigger than four feet. They have long firey red hair and matching red eyes. They look pretty but I can't tell if they're a man or woman. They're wearing one of my shirts and it stops just after her thighs.

"What do you think?" I hear Ramia ask me.

"Who is it?" I ask while the red-haired woman walks over to Ramia.

"This is Flare. I named her after her red hair and eyes. She's the doll I made with the Demon Golem Blood. She's much more advanced than I thought. She has five fingers and can even handle complex orders." Ramia explains excitedly.

"That's great, so Ramia. I have something I'd like you to do." I say causing her to look at me suspiciously and confused. "Marlo got here not too long ago, and Irene is with him. I'd like for you to meet them both." I say before she sighs.

"C-could it wait until S-Saturday?" Ramia asks.

"It could, and I'm not going to **** you. But I think it would be good for you to meet them sooner. Besides, there are going to be five more on Saturday to meet. It might be easier if you meet some now." I reply and she sighs.

"O-okay, but only for ten m-minutes at most. I have a potion brewing now t-that I need to check on in a b-bit." She says causing me to smile.

"Thanks Ramia." I say while pulling her into a hug. She clears her throat before stepping back, not wanting to meet the others while embraced like that. Flare steps forward and grabs Ramias arm. "Are you ready?" I ask while reaching my hand out. She nods and takes it before I bring us back to the Guildhall.
