Pir'Ik

Pir'Ik was a relatively new addition to the Shifters, having only evolved into its present form 12 cycles ago. As a Possessor it had aided in the conquering of 4 worlds previously and played a crucial role in possessing a matriarch of a capital city on the last. As such, had been selected to undergo the evolutionary process of becoming a Shifter. As a newfound Shifter, it sought favor in the eyes of its Broodlord and looked to establish a base of operations in a widely-populated city quickly, a task typically only accomplished by the even more evolved Predators. As such, Pir'Ik chose to set down its bioship over what the scouts had indicated was the primary continent's tertiary city. The bioship barely made a hum as it hovered above the outskirts of the city, its cloaking engine fully engaged. Pir'Ik dropped from the ship, landing on the dirt beneath without a sound. The alien, confident in its abilities, strode forward into the night, its vessel staying silent, waiting for its master to return.
