A walk in the park.

"Could we go to the zoo?" Marlissa asked her husband with big doe green eyes.

"How can I say no after you spending thousands of dollars on clothes?" he shrugged.

She giggled and gave him a kiss before leading him to wards the Central Park Zoo. Ryan smiled at the thought of his wife switching from the embodiment of sexual lust to pure innocence when she giddily went from exhibit to exhibit, waving at the animals.

"I want to hug one!" Marlissa exclaimed, fawning over the red pandas, who were blissfully ignorant of her presence while they chased and played with each other.

"That's the one thing my credit card can't buy," Ryan chuckled.

What should have taken about forty minutes to walk from the zoo to Ryan's parents' house, took twice as long as Marlissa wanted to stroll through Central Park at a leisurely pace to enjoy the sights and sounds of not only nature but the people enjoying their free time in the green oasis in the middle of concrete jungle. Ryan did not mind though, it was a nice change of pace from the previous few hours where he had sex with six women (albeit of infernal and celestial origins).

"Are you getting hungry?" Ryan asked as they were approaching the western edge of Central Park.

"I am still full after Grace's," Marlissa giggled, patting her flat belly.

"Right, you don't need food like I do," he chuckled. "I'll call my dad to see if he has dinner ready."

"Oh, may I call him on my new telephone?" Marlissa asked.

"Probably for the best because you won't get an earful from my mother for not calling earlier to tell them we'll be there for dinner."

Marlissa took out her smartphone and carefully touched the screen with her manicured finger.

"Hello, Carter residence," Edward answered. "Dr. Edward Carter speaking."

"Hello, Dr. Carter this is your daughter-in-law, Sam," Marlissa said.

"Oh, hi, Sam! How are you? I didn't recognize the phone number."

"That is because I got a new telephone!" she chirped.

"That's great! Will you and Ryan be coming home for dinner? I've started preparing..."

"Yes, we will," she replied. "We are about four blocks away."

"Okay, that's great! I'll see you in a bit!"

"Bye, Dad!"

"I think my father likes you more than he likes me," Ryan sighed.

"Yes but he still loves you," Marlissa nodded in agreement and gave him a kiss on a cheek. "But I love you more!"

"I know," he smiled.
