“I figured I’m the heal bot for the team, so I spent three gold getting heavy armor. That puts my Ac up to 18. That makes me harder to hit, so I can stay up and keep my team fighting.”

“That’s going to use up all your weight.”

“Yep, but if the healer is doing damage something is going wrong., there was this mace that would be good for me, but it was pretty expensive, so I’m sticking with a strong defense for now.”

“And you other point?”

“I bought one of those twinning potions that my people sell. It should let me copy an ability from a team mate, that sounds really useful.”

“Ha, I may be a big ol dummy, but I didn’t buy anything!”

“Lana, you’re going into battle.”

“I know I know, but there was this really cool set of shoes, and armor that would be perfect for me, but they were way expensive. I’m going to save my money and buy them, rather than waste it on stuff that will only be marginally better. Besides all I’m going to be doing during a fight is singing , not a lot of equipment needed there!”

“I had um… Foxglove take a look at my shield last night. She helped me come up with a pretty good strategy. I’m going with the captain America build! Just a shield, and my bare fist. Spent my money on heavy armor and now I’m at 21 ac! Nothing is hitting me!”

“Oh I think I’m going to have damage to spare. If The General is to be believed.”

“I’m afraid mine isn’t very exciting! I just got some armor, and this cute medium sized mace! Heh I feel a little weird thinking that I’m going to be fighting something, but I played softball in college, so I hope I remember how to swing!”

“Did you check the dwarf pavilion, they have lots of good armor over there.”

“It was so expensive though, I could have afforded it if I didn’t have to give my… heh sorry never mind. I’ll just grab it next time. I’m sure we don’t have to be decked out for the first fight.”

“Why not ask for a few coins from the pot? You have some of the lowest ac of the group, I’m sure Gabe wouldn’t mind getting you some defense.”

“I know, but I just didn’t want to be the one to ask for the money.”

“Yup, it holds two level one spells and 1 level 2 spell. But since I don’t know any level 2 spells, I can put a 1 level one spell there instead…”

“I gives me three more spell slots, doubling my total. Plus I got that spider silk armor. So I’m not totally defenseless.”

“It was expensive though, I had to convince Gabe that I suffered thanks to the class he chose for me, but it covers everything I need.”
