They agree to sleep upstairs.

The girls knew Jake was right, it was too dangerous for them to leave.

After a small discussion, the women ultimately agreed that it would just be easier to sleep at Jake's. Using the flashlight on his cell phone, he headed upstairs to prep his room for them. He liked having a big bed to sleep on, so the three of them could manage to sleep on the same bed together without too much trouble. He changed the sheets and pillow covers quickly, not wanting to drain his phone too much in case the rest of the power went out too.

After the women went giggling upstairs, using one of their phone flashlights as well for the short walk, Jake threw his own pillow and blanket to the couch and laid down. He tried to sleep, but it wasn't going well. For starters, he could hear the women upstairs, where they were talking and laughing during some great conversation that he could only imagine. Even if they weren't distracting him, the storm outside was obnoxious enough to make anyone weary of falling asleep in case a tree or lawn chair went crashing through the roof.
