Tsunade feels sympathetic, and gives Hinata her clothes

"...we can't have Hinata go off on a mission completely naked! Now boys, wait here for a moment, Hinata will be right back to start the mission."

Tsunade called Hinata to follow her into the village, which Hinata very reluctantly did. Hinata would never directly disobey an order from her Hokage. They walked for only thirty seconds, so not very deep into the village, before Tsunade stopped. They turned into an alleyway before Tsunade turned to Hinata.

"Listen kid, I've been where you are now, I had a teammate who was always pulling pranks during missions that left me starkers for a bit, it sucks, so I'm not about to ask you to go on another whole mission with absolutely no clothes." Tsunade said soothingly.

Tsunade was having second thoughts about what she was was going to do though.

'Am I really going to do this?! it's in the middle of the day, and my office in all the way across Konoha!'

'Of course I am, I can't leave this poor girl to struggle with something so huge! I can make it back easy'

With her mind made up, Tsunade spoke at last.

"Alright Hinata, I'm going to help you, but this mission has to start right away, so it can't helped," Tsunade seemed to say that last bit to herself, rather than Hinata, " I am going to give you my clothes for the mission."

"W-what?! Lady Tsunade, you can't do that!" Hinata retorted.

Tsunade laughed. " Trust me, I'll be fine, you need them more than I do."
