A New Path

I walk up to Ayashi. She's on her knees and looking down.

"You won." Ayashi says quietly, stunned and in disbelief.

"So now you can't continue your plans." I say causing her to nod. "What do you plan to do next?" I ask, causing her to sigh.

"I don't know. I've been working on this for so long."

"Then how about you start by rebuilding the Mythos village?" I ask causing her to look up at me. She looks back down before thinking it over.

"I'd need materials. They need to be Epic grade at the least. This way they can handle the mana the Primal Source gives off. Anything lower would **** quickly until it broke and collapsed in on itself. I can't get those materials without causing people to take notice."

"Well, it just so happens that I have entered a Pact with some Dryads. They give me some of the forests materials in exchange for my protection. It'll take some time, but I'm sure I can easily get you most of the materials without anyone noticing." I say causing her to look at me again with a slight smile.

"Just how far did you plan this?" She asks me.

"Honestly not much. I had my own reasons for entering the Pact with the Dryads. And it was Verona who suggested trying to convince you to rebuild the village." I say before Prisma places his hand on her shoulder.

"I for one, would like to see the village be repaired. But this time how about you don't build a statue of me in the center, please?" Prisma says causing me to imagine it. I imagine seeing a statue of the tree that his real body is.

"O-okay. I'll start repairing the village. But there's no point if we're the only Mythos." Ayashi says while standing up and looking at me.

"How did you use to populate the village? I've never thought about it before, but it wasn't ****, was it?" I ask concerned.

"No, no! Of course not! Some of us would travel out of the village. They'd find Lyna lovers and come back to make them Mythos. But now, we could also go to a sperm bank or somewhere similar." She says causing me to sigh.

"I see. So, are you going to remain the Queen?"

"For now, once the village has been rebuilt and there are more of us. I'll step down before I do something stupid like cause a civil war among ourselves again." Ayashi says sadly.

"No you won't. You were a good Queen. You'll keep at it until your time's up. Besides, you're the only one who remembers how things were done. So consider it an order from me, the Primal Source." Prisma says and I nod in agreement. I open my mouth to say something when I get a notification. It says Asami's calling me. I'm surprised it works in here, honestly. "Eric, feel free to leave if you need. I'll keep Ayashi here and we'll iron out some details about the rebuilding. Besides, I'm sure you'd find it a tad boring." Prisma says, seeing the notifications since it's his mana creating it. I nod and thank him before getting ready to leave.

"Wait Eric! I'm going to leave another one of the Summon Me! papers when I leave here. I'll leave it on your table. Use it when you can, we need to talk. We'll also come up with a better way to meet, other than using a special summoning spell." Ayashi says.

"That'd be nice." I say before sinking under the water. I let go of Ayashi's hand as she face plants onto the table. One second here is an hour for her in there. I wonder what they're talking about. I think while taking my phone out and answering it. "Hey Asami, what's up?" I ask.

"Master how soon can you get to the Guildhall?" Asami asks me, she sounds worried.

"I'm here now, why? What's going on?"

"There are some people here from the government asking for you. There's a human named Dale, and an Elf named Yuya. They said you met this morning."

"Yeah, we met in the Dryads forest. What do they want?"

"They said they're here to take you to a nearby Government Lyna branch office. They said it was to go over what happened this morning and to determine a form of compensation for you. They did say that the Dryads and Liz are there already."

"Okay, where are you? I'm near the meeting room." I say while walking out of the room.

"We're down at the entrance. They called me after no one answered the door. But why were you in the meeting room?"

"I'll tell you later, but make sure Luna and Innu don't go in there for now. There's a guest and I feel like they'd ask them to spar." I say causing her to chuckle. I quickly climb down the stairs. I get to the entrance and see the two Agents from this morning. The human is still wearing his Rune-covered suit. The Elven man is wearing a different pair of robes than this morning. These ones don't seem to have any mana in them. However, I do notice he still has his book with him. It's in a sleeve that he has strapped over his shoulder.

"Thanks for coming and sorry for the unannounced visit. Normally we would've called ahead of time. But due to the sensitive nature of the case, our bosses wanted to get this settled asap." The man, Dale says.

"It's fine, I understand." I reply and he nods with a smile.

"Then if you'll come with us. We'll drive you to the branch office where we'll go over all the details." Dale says while motioning toward the door. I nod and follow them outside. We get in a silver car, I don't know what kind it is. I get in the back and they get in the front. Dale starts driving and Yuya turns to me.

"Before we get there, are there any questions you have?" Yuya asks me.
