Teasting!

"I'm impressed with you girl. Not many people know about Abyss Reapers, let alone their weaknesses." Mark says while placing his palm on the Abyss Armors side.

"I do my homework." Liz replies nervously. I go to cast Ancient Beastial Strength when Alex activates the Magic Sealing Gem. I swap over to my armor and draw my weapons.

"Eric, what is that you're using? Magic shouldn't work anymore." Mark asks and I shrug with a smile. He sighs before stepping away from the Abyss Armor. "Eric, this is the last time I'll offer this. Please step aside and look the other way. I'll still get you those Ruins, but you'll enter a Pact with me to keep silent." He says causing me to laugh.

"Yeah, that's a hard pass." I say causing him to sigh.

"Very well. Abyss Armor! Kill those four and open the gates!" Mark shouts out. The Abyss Armor reaches toward its chest. The fog solidifies into the grip of a sword. It pulls it out and holds a large sword, bigger than Innus Gigantomakia. It's nearly as tall as I am.

"Be careful! That sword is made of Abyss Magic! If it touches you, it'll damage your soul. The amount of damage you can take varies by person, so don't get hit!" Liz warns us. The Abyss Armor steps forward and I rush it. I don't want it to pin us against the wall protecting the Core, since we were only a few feet from it. It swings its sword wide at me, aiming for my waist. I jump, using my wings to go to its chest. I stab both my blades into its chest. I don't get any damage notifications, meaning I missed the Core. I jump back as I see it going to grab me. I see the fog fill in and fix the holes I made in the armor. This is going to be tough without magic. I think before looking at Alex. I see the gem glowing and Mark standing slightly between us. I smile before rushing the Abyss Armor again. I jump over its blade and use my wings to go over its head. I land behind it and rush Alex. Mark draws his sword and swings it at me. I dodge it and run past him. I don't want to risk causing the Abyss Armor to go on a rampage if the Monster Tamer gets knocked out. I run up to Alex and take the gem. He struggles to stop me, but can't stop my brute strength. I take it and fly back before the Abyss Armor gets here. I see that Layla is holding it off. She's clearly struggling, but she's able to dodge it easily enough. I land and destroy the gem, shattering it with my claws. As soon as I do, vines shoot from the ground and envelope the Abyss Armor. It struggles to break free, but every time it breaks a vine another vine appears to replace it. Layla jumps on it and tries to stab her sword through it. She can't pierce the metal, and I see the normally black fog start to turn red.

"Get back Layla!" Liz shouts, causing Layle to jump off it. As she does, rays of red light appear around it. I run over to the others as the light fades.

"What is this? Its mana just shot up." I hear Treena ask.

"It's a Monster Tamer spell. It significantly boosts the tamed monster's power. I've heard they can boost a monster's abilities up to three times what they normally are. But it comes at a price. It lasts for ten minutes, and kills the monster when it's done." Liz replies. Ten minutes? That's... That gives me an idea. I should use this to test out my Sword of Annihilation. I think before stepping forward.

"Wait, Eric! Let's come up with a plan, or we can just run away and wait for the time to run out." Lala says and I shake my head no.

"No, I have something I want to test out on it. Don't worry, I'll be fine." I say while taking the Sword out of my inventory. It's in its pole form and I see the Abyss Armor starting to stand back up. I activate the Sword, causing the blade of Annihilation Energy to form. I lunge for the Abyss Armor at a much faster speed than before. I swing my sword down on its shoulder. The Armor feels my blade cut through it and raises its sword to block. I cut through its armor like butter, but I can't get through its sword. This surprises me, as I thought the sword was made of magic which I should be able to cut through. I place my feet on its armor and kick-off. As I do, I Multicast Mark of Annihilation. I land a few feet away and ready myself for another attack. The Armor charges me and I wait. As soon as it swings at me, I jump up in the air. I use my wings and go much higher than I wanted. I end up going nearly fifteen feet up. I fall and land on the Armor. As I fell, the Abyss Armor cuts me with its blade. I managed to avoid a direct hit by dodging, but I still got hit. I land on my blade, impaling it into his shoulder. As soon as my blade is in it, I cast Annihilation Energy. I make the Energy shoot off of the blade and fill up the inside of the armor.

I jump off the armor and land a few feet away. The armor starts to disappear, vanishing into the air.

"NOOOOO!" Mark shouts out while running over. I'm about to put the Sword away when I sense some magic. Two vines, made of light appear and envelop Mark and Alex. I see two figures walk out from the forest and ready my blade.
