SensaVR

The SensaVR rig is the latest and greatest model of Virtual Reality equipment that the public can buy. Unlike its competitors, SensaVR does not use screens or cameras. Instead, it takes a full, comprehensive scan of users' brains and is trained to stimulate certain parts of it in order to evoke specific sensations and responses. The rig also performs a full body scan which replicates the user's body with 99.5% accuracy in whatever program they choose. Commands from the brain to the body are redirected to the impressive series of sensors and amplifiers that that are housed inside the SensaVR rig. Everything from detailed eye tracking to minute facial twitches are captured by the rig and translated in-program.

Although older models were more heavy, bulky, and power-consuming, the modern rigs come in the form of a simple headband, and accompanying wrist and ankle bands, that take up about as much power as your average PC. It is recommended that one uses the equipment in a safe, comfortable place, such as a bed, to avoid muscle cramps or injury when the rig redirects brain waves.

Enchanted Embrace

Growing by far to become the most popular program available on the SensaVR, Enchanted Embrace is known across the world. Initially, it was a simple sex simulator marketed to couples in long-distance relationships. The early versions were fairly simple, allowing for hetero or homosexual experiences. Of course, you could change values like height and skin color with ease, but it made no actual impact on the sensations being directed into users' brains. It was mainly for aesthetics.

However, it very quickly gained mass public attention when the creator, Silas Rivers, 'accidentally' wrote code that allowed users to change their bodies in ways that dramatically affected sensation. This included things as mundane as muscle mass or more outlandish changes like the size and shape of the user's body parts, especially genitals. At first, the release caused quite a stir among the adult VR community, but soon after, the potential for the technology became clear to others. The blind could see, the deaf could hear, and the lame could walk.

Very quickly, the scope of Enchanted Embrace expanded with an outpouring of social, developmental, and financial support. Rather than being strictly limited to sexual interactions, the developers began adding in other scenarios. Training, combat, and even survival scenarios were added. Soon, a completely non-sexual side of the program became just as popular as the original.

Mods

Mods are a very popular enhancement that a large chunk of the player base use. Most of them work on a single client without affecting the parent server, but others are server based and affect all players that join. "Full Sensation Futanari," "safe vore v4," "ANAL NOT PAINAL," "arousal changes breast size," and "Best Cunt Model of 2087 (innie and outie options)" are just a few of the tens of thousands of mods on offer. For example, the main server of Magium, consisting of the full world, has no such additions but does allow client-side mods such as "Increased Sensitivity (x2, x4, x8, or x16)" or "x-ray vision."

Hosted servers, usually a city or two with a surrounding area, have virtually no (enforceable) restrictions on what mods they have available to their players. As such, there are some servers that allow things that would ordinarily be illegal (or immoral) in the outside world.
