At a bar

You and Dan agree to meet up at a nearby bar. A fancy place, one that's regularly patronized by hipsters, and apparently Dan as well. You feel mighty awkward walking around in public with a gargantuan bulge, but figure that everyone has to tolerate quite a bit of body horror today. Indeed, most of the bar's patrons are gawking at the TV.

You wait for half an hour. Dan's number was 40, so either Dan got lost, the transformees are more work than expected... or something has gone wrong. Being a horny disaster, you decide on accepting the third, most unlikely option. You head back to the hospital and inquire which number they're currently serving.

Nurse: "Oh, hi again, darling! We're currently only up to 53, so you're in no rush yet."

Sophie: "How many stations do you have working at the same time?"

Nurse: "Four, at the moment."

Sophie: "So where the hell is Dan? He should be out by now."

Nurse: "Dan? Oh, you mean that handsome young man I saw you with? Dr. Coitus was supposed to personally inspect him. I could give him a call and see if everything's alright."

The nurse has Dr. Coitus on speed dial. Seems that he's a bit of a character. However, an automated voice informs her that the number she is calling can't be reached.

Nurse: "Dambnabbit, Coitus! He must be messin' about in his underground bunker again."

Sophie: "An underground bunker?"

Nurse: "Yea, Coitus is an odd cookie like that, has a second office on the maintenance floor. Come back in an hour or so - if Dan comes by I'll tell him you were looking for him."

Sophie: "Thanks a mile."

So Dr. Coitus has an underground office below the hospital, and Dan, who Dr. Coitus is supposed to be examining, is missing. Mighty suspicious. Your paranoia is working double time. You decide to be a naughty girl and sneak around for a bit.

The stairs that lead into floor -1, where the employee dressing rooms are, are easily found and unguarded. In civilian clothing, you blend nearly perfectly into the mad rush of nurses who have just been called into action to account for the catastrophic influx of transformees. None pay you mind as you casually descend into the maintenance floor.

Here you seek out any odd-looking doors which might signal Dr. Coitus's office. Most of the hallways are dusty, as they receive low maintenance. This dust however reveals a doorway which has clearly been recently opened. How Dr. Coitus ever managed to get a second office here is beyond you - this can't be sanitary. This only reaffirms your belief that something nefarious is up.

You quietly part the door to just a slit, and peek through. The immediately adjoining room is dark, but there's another door at the back, and the lights are on. You decide to brave it and enter. Goodness, this was a bad idea. You're not even armed or anything.

You take another peek through the second door. There you see it: Dan is **** under some sort of a dome, while a man in a white lab coat, who you can only assume to be Dr. Coitus, twiddles with the controls of some machine.

This surely seems suspicious, but maybe there's a good reason for everything? Maybe he's like, using some outdated machinery which is stored here in the basement? Surely you can't rush to conclusions and burst into the room brandishing a scalpel or something stupid like that.

Then you see that Dr. Coitus has injected a tube into his arm, connected to a drip of opaque beige material which looks suspiciously like Dan's malleable goop. Surely a legitimate doctor wouldn't be performing a health inspection while wearing such a thing?

You've seen enough. You're going to burst in there and free Dan.
