Battles.

Freya read the message from Cassandra that she was in position with her cavalry and soon as she saw the blazing arrow she would attack and cut the road. Freya looked at the reports from her subordinates that every availble warrior was availible and she calculated that she had around one thousand warriors. She issued the order for her troops to advance and the blazing arrow was fired high into the air which was seen by Cassandra who orderd her cavalry to charge the road. Freya took her place at the front as the warriors charged at the mercanaries head on and soon steel was clashing against steel swords and wooden shields. The battle was bloody niether side willing to give ground as they pushed against eachother leaving the ground covered in blood and the moands of the dying and wounded. Freay herself was surrounded by four mercanaries and she dispatched three before the fourth slashed blindly catching Freya's arm as he was about to finish Freya off his head departed his body.

Cassandra's troops had cut the road and captured a gold and supply train and she ordered the wagons be taken back to their camp which would be hard as the ground was rough. She spared one hundred of her horse warriors and the rest she turned and headed towards the sound of the battle to her rear. She rode as fast as she could with her troops and when they got near they brought out their bows and started to fire into the enemy which decimatd them. However soon she was being attacked and realised high up on horse they were at risk so she order her warriors to dismount and they advance on foot. Now the cacophony of steel and screams and moans filled the air as the battle went on and soon Cassandra found a mercanary standing over Freya with his sword raised so she ran leaping over bodies her sword already swing in and arc and it connected with the man's neck taking his head of cleanly. Freya looked up at Cassandra and thanked her as a white flag was raised by the enemy.

Jasmine and her troops had a tough nut to crack they had to stay on the road which limited their ability to move on a broad front. So for the moment her troops just stared at the enemy. The enemy were alert but confused as to why the enemy did not advance but they continued to stare at the Amazon warriors. The city guards could also not understand why their sisters did not advance and were just as equally confused. Then word came that an enemy was attacking their flank trying to get to the road. The mercanaries pulled troops from the bloackade and sent them to the rear and seeing this Jasmine ordered her troops to charge. They approached the now under manned Blockade and fierce fighting ensued but Jamine and her fatigued troops broke through just as the enemy were caught front the front and rear. The city guard fought to get back to the city but Kiliane and her dwindling troops stopped them In this case the road worked in Killiane's favour as the city troops could not move easily.

Soon the enemy had surrendered to the better troops and tactics and the road was secure and there was just half a mile left to travel to get to the gates of Talia. Jasmine met up with Killiane and they shook hands then they took stock of there remaining troops and realised that they did not have enough to mount an attack. They hoped that Katherine could take the gate and hold it until they arrived but Jasmine had seen Katherine fight at close quarters and new only **** would stop her. Killiane said that she could pull one hundred warriors from the harbour and send them to the city to support Katherine but Jasmine smiled and said Katherine would be mad if she did. So they both sat and composed a message to be delivered to Arerto and then they walked around checking on their dead and wounded making sure they were being taken care of. the prisoners were being watched and there leader was brought to Jasmine. She told him that she would let him go aslong as she left Freeconia as he was not going to get paid now the city was cut off.

Katherine and fifty of her marines fought their way to the main gate from inside the city and the city guard put up a strong defence but eventually she and her marines prevailed. They attacked both sides at the same which prevented each side from aiding the otherside and soon the defenders were being pushed back up the stone steps. With there backs to the wall the gate commander stepped forward hands raised and offered her surrender to Katherine. Arerto had ordered that anyone surrendering was to be treated fairly. The remaining guards were disarmed and told to go back to barracks which had long been stripped of weapons. Then Katherine took stock and out the fifty marines she started with she only had twenty five left fit to fight and she hoped that things outside the city had gone to plan. She went back to the commader of Thadens troops and asked him to send a few troops to the gate to help hold it.
