Mixed results.

Arerto was standing at her table looking at the reports of the various attacks. Still surprised about the amount of resistance she did not look happy. Freya had been stalled and had not taken Kha yet even with the extra help from Cassandra's fourth-division reinforcements. Jasmine's second division was stalled a mile from the city but at least she had secured the road with Killiane's help. The only thing that had gone right was the capture of the harbour by Katherine and the surrounding of the palace by Thaden's troops. As expected the general population had locked themselves away avoiding the fighting. Arerto came to a decision and had her steed saddled and an escort formed and she rode off to the bridge over the Juno to meet with Freya and Cassandra. When she arrived she found Freyua in conference with Cassandra who both turned and greeted Arerto. "General Freya what is the situation here."

_"_My queen somehow the enemy **** is being reinforced and now I find myself with barely enough troops to hold the land we have taken." Arerto looked at the local map" These are mercenaries and they can be strong but have only one motive for fighting and that's gold. General Cassandra send your cavalry behind their lines and cut off any supplies, especially the gold and they will give up hopefully" Cassandra nodded her head and went out and headed to her troops. _"Freya we cannot let these mercenaries defeat us our troops are far better and I know they are dug in but we will overcome that" Freya looked at her queen "Yes your majesty I know we will prevail but at what cost I have already lost half of my command" Arerto took her generals hand **"Let me worry about that I will get more troops from somewhere just hold here until Cassandra reports back."_** Then she left the tent and headed to Jasmine's headquarters.

Arerto had no idea where she would find more troops but she had never broken an oath and would not stop now. She soon reached Jasmine's camp and was welcomed. "General Jasmine, what is the situation here?" Jasmine cleared her throat "Well your majesty the enemy has the road blocked and with marshes on either side we cannot outflank them. We are down to less than half of my original strength and even with Killiane's help it was touch and go." Arerto looked at the map and then replied "Be ready to attack head one this evening and I will have Killiane attack from the harbour into their rear area. We have the palace surrounded within the city I will get Katherine to capture the main gate so the enemy cannot get reinforcements or retreat." Arerto then left Jasmine's camp and headed towards the coast to meet with her newest general and hoped to meet with Katherine to give her orders personally but she knew it would not be possible.

When she arrived she found General Killiane talking with her troops. "Your Majesty it's good to see you," said Killiane. "General we will have time for pleasantries later. What I need you to do with the rest of your division is to attack the road behind the enemy lines and cut them off from the city. I also want you to get a message to Admiral Katherine to take and hold the main gate to stop the enemy from retreating back into the city. I would go myself and I wanted to brief the admiral myself." With these orders issued Arerto once again mounted her steed and rode away back to her headquarters which had now crossed the river and was positioned behind Jasmine's lines as this was the most central point. Arerto sat in her tent wondering if she could get more troops and decided that she would sleep on it. What this meant was Arerto would be thinking about this problem without going to sleep until the evening attacks had commenced.
