A simple tie gets less simple over time.

Jenni is led around back and into the yard.
She is forced to stand between two palm trees and tie a loop of rope around each wrist.

He takes one end and ties it to the tree.
He takes the other end from her other arm and repeats the step.

"I'll be back soon. No escape attempts now."

He laughs and leaves her there.

She struggles, but the ropes are pulled taut with that much distance.
She can't move them or get free.

True to his word, he returned a few minutes later...with more rope.

"Apologize to me for trying to escape."
Jenni refuses...and swears.
"Alright then."

He forces her ankles together and ties them tight, the other end of the rope going to one of the trees.

Five minutes later, he returned.
More rope.

"Apologize."
A dirty look.
Below the knees tied.

3 minutes later, he's back.
More rope.

"Apologize."
Another glare.
Above the knees tied.

'He's got to tire of this soon,' she thinks.
