Bang !

Following their close encounter with the crowd, it was almost a relief for Debbi and Carol to resume bouncing along on the hoppers as the paraded began to move forward again towards the final destination in the local park.

Working for an IT company, Debbi ought to have been appreciative of the ongoing work to install high speed fiber broadband throughout the town. Unfortunately, the contractors carrying out this work had skimped on the materials for restoration of the highway and where the road had been dug up, the new surface was already coming loose with sharp asphalt stones. While these chippings would not present any problem to a car tire, an inflated bouncing hopper was another thing entirely !

As a consequence, almost as if they were synchronized, Debbi and Carol encountered this problem at the same time and as they were about to turn a corner and performed a particularly exuberant forward bounce, there was a loud bang and their hoppers burst and collapsed beneath them. Stew stood on the brakes of the float, which was just able to stop in time before running over the hapless pair. "Ow, shit" cried Carl, who had managed to break her fall to some extent and was already climbing to her feet. Debbi however had fallen backwards and banged her head and was seeing stars and therefore, for the time being, was was not concerned with the fact that she was lying spread-eagled and displaying to the world all her charms !

Diane and Aditty were berating Stew, having been propelled forward in their seats when he had braked sharply. "Er, shouldn't someone be helping Deb ?" yelled Carol, noticing her fellow bunny once she had finished brushing loose chippings from her ass. Debbi was coming round but still unaware of her undignified pose with legs wide open. "What the hell happened ?" she groaned. Andy and another fireman had jumped down from their float. "Are you ok ?" they asked.

Debbi blushed and belatedly pulled her legs together. "Bumped my head" she mumbled. Andy felt in her hair. "No blood but you and Carol look shaken up, you'd better get on the float." "There's no room up here for them" Diane called territorially. "No worries, you can both climb up on our float" suggested Andy.
