To the PokeMart

With the healing machine being hacked you think it's a good idea to stock up on potions and antidotes. As you walk to the PokeMart you hear someone yelling.

"Hey, Bimbo! Wanna have some fun?"

You turn around to see Joey standing there, grinning at you. "I don't think so, thanks." You say as you walk away.

"What a boring bitch." He says as he enters the PokeCenter.

Before entering the PokeMart you check your purse. Mhmm... 5000PD enough to get a few more potions and antidotes. The shop itself is pretty empty. Only the clerk and one trainer are in there. "Bye have a nice day." The clerk says.

Your eyes lock as the young trainer probably in his early twenties, walks past you and leaves the PokeMart without saying a word.

…

"So, how can I help you?" The clerk asks.

"Uhm... Yes… 4 potions and 3 antidotes please." You respond.

"Alright that be 1500PD."

You pay for the items and put them into your bag. After putting the last item in your bag you look back up at him to say goodbye, only to catch him staring at your chest. "Tssk. Men." You think to yourself as you leave the shop. You have a short lunch break before you start to explore Veridian City. You check out the gym to find a note on the door which reads

"Gym closed"

Not far from you, you see 3 guys standing in a corner behind the PokeMart. They exchange something then 1 guy leaves while the other 2 guys head to the Pokemon Center. After talking to some local residents you find out that the gym leader disappeared after the latest attack from Team Rocket, so the league had to close the gym temporarily. They also told you about a young man that had been in a coma for 4 years after getting attacked by a group of Spearows.

You spent so much time talking to the residents that you didn't realize the sun is about to set and you have no place to sleep. You walk around aimlessly looking for a place to sleep you check out the PokeCenter the nearby Hostel but they're both full.

Maybe you could ask one of the guys in the Pokecenter if they let you share a room with them, but then again, they probably want something in return. Maybe camping outside isn't such a bad idea after all.

Authors note: I know, technically Amber took Red’s place but I wanted to have Red in my branch as well, got lots of great pictures and an even more awesome gif :) I made a few changes to his backstory, you could say this Red is a variant, but we will find out more about him soon enough.
Edit: The side I used to upload my pics terminated my account for violations of terms and/or claims of copyright infringement, even though everything was set to private. Gonna reupload them to somewhere else and fix the chapters in the next few days.
