Living with your aunt

You weren’t really happy about this. Freshly 18, the summer before your senior year of high school, and your parents decided they were going on holiday without their only child. But did they trust you to live alone for a summer, or stay with a friend? No. Instead, they sent you to live with your aunt in another state, saying the experience would be good for you.

Your aunt lived alone in a large house, seemingly wealthy but you had no idea what she did for a living or for fun. All you did know is she was tall, always dressed in some form of what you assumed was high fashion, and was, let’s face it, beautiful for someone in their mid forties. Still, even though she was always kind on the surface to you, you always felt intimidated by the woman, especially when she opened the door for you to her house. You had just left the cab, walking up the steps to her with your bag in hand, ready ti spend the whole summer with her
