Prelude

"Wake up!"

A voice roused you from your sleep slightly, making you slowly start to shift. It was high-pitched and male, sort of like those old television ads on the radio back in the day that your grandparents would tell you about.

"Ohhh... Do wake up, won't you?"

He was getting more concerned now, whoever he is. Best not to keep him waiting.

So, you groggily opened your eyes, remembering your strange encounter as you shifted in the soft sand and listened to the lapping of the waves.

When you opened your eyes, you saw three pokemon you recognised: Cyndaquil, Rowlet, and Oshawott.

All male, from the looks of it, as like any other pokemon they had their genitalia out in the open. All of them were sporting bright pink members.

"Are you alive, my boy?!" That stereotypical old commercial voice asked you, and you turned your head up to see a fat brown-skinned man, with some stubble lining his chin looking down at you. He was wearing a lab coat with a gold emblem on it, along with a purple beanie on his head.

You got up and brushed the sand off you, making sure your T-shirt and pants weren't too dirty. You especially focused on your pants to ensure no sand entered your underwear , discreetly brushing around your groin area and noticeable bulge. You hated getting sand in your underwear. After that, you looked around to find yourself in a small beach near the sea, with grasslands and plains at the sides and front. A small wooden building stood nearby.

After knowing you were okay, he crossed his arms and smiled in relief. "You gave me quite the shock, falling from the sky like that...", he sighed, "But thank goodness, you seem unharmed!". All you could think about was how Arceus seemed unable to be gentle with the people it sent on important quests, just dropping them off from the sky, unbelievable!

"Who are you?" You asked this strange man. At least he seemed friendly.

"I'd like to ask you the same! I mean... You fell out of the SKY now, you understand. Come now, who in the world does that?" He raised a fair point.

"Where am I?" You wanted to know.

"Why, this is prelude beach of course. Dear me, did the shock of your fall somehow addle your memory?" He raised his eyebrows in concern, placing his arms back at his side.

Prelude beach, fitting name.

"I must say, your clothing is... Unusual. You wouldn't happen to have an acquaintance in these parts, would you?" he asked.

These parts? You didn't even know where "these parts" were! You could only reply with a "I doubt it..."

The man thought for a few seconds, obviously feeling pity, before saying: "I see, you seem to be in a bit of a pickle... Might I offer some directions? Do you have somewhere around here you could stay?", To which you could only respond: "No, nowhere."

"So you don't know anyone here, and you don't even know where to spend the night..." He rubbed his chin, "Well... This is a proper pickle indeed. Are you quite sure you'll be able to survive?"

"I don't know what to do..." You could only respond in honesty, wringing your hands in defeat.

The man seemed to be in deep contemplation before he offered a smile, "I see... Well, no gentleman would abandon a person in such need!"

"Krooo!" The Rowlet chriped, "Fooom!" The Cyndaquil blazed, and "Plish Plash!" The Oshawott... Splashed. They all seemed to be in agreement.

You started to feel a bit relieved. At least someone was willing to help you.
