Chapter 47 by Aucus
A Meeting in the Dark
The Untimely of Aucus
My eyes opened to the darkness with the beam of light falling from the sky in the distance. It seemed to have grown wider each time I came here, only slightly so, but it was noticeable. I had never noticed it before, but it was neither warm nor cold in the darkness, it didn’t feel of anything, though there was no lack of sensation. I didn’t know how to describe the feeling, it just felt right. Like this was the centre point that people compared to when finding the temperature to be too hot or too cold.
Lilith was stood in her usual position, bathing in the light. When my eyes rested on her, she spun around with a rage on her face. “No!” she shouted at me. “No, you do not bring yourself here” she continued, her face a visage of anger, and something else. Was it fear I saw in those golden eyes of hers.
I slunk back at the anger in her voice, she had always been so calm and peaceful before, the change in her demeanour startled me. “I’m sorry” I said quietly as I stepped backwards cautiously.
Her face softened after a moment and her voice returned to its usual tone. “I am sorry Aucus” she said with a breath, “You worried me is all. When you bring yourself here, the threads become tangled, and I may not be able to find you in time. You could become lost to me” she said
I swallowed nervously; I wasn’t entirely sure what she meant by that, but it didn’t sound good. “I won’t do it again” I said in a timid voice. Her tone may have softened but the fires still burned in her eyes, she could be terrifying when she needed to be.
She nodded her head, “I take it you have questions you wish me to answer?” she said, lowering her hood and providing me with a better view of her elegant features. Her white hair flowed in a breeze as she waited for my answer.
“Yes” I said at last, caught in a trance by her beauty. “It’s my spirit, it… it killed another spirit today. I didn’t tell it to, it just did it by itself” I said, trying to explain the situation to her.
Her eyes narrowed for a moment, and she gave one slow nod of her head. “So the first blow of the war has been struck” she said quietly. “Your spirit was simply defending you; it would not have attacked if your life was not in danger”
“What do you mean? How would it know, and what war are you talking about?” I asked, needing to know as much as I could about everything in my life.
“Your spirit is bonded to you at your very core, it feels what you feel, it knows what you know. If you felt that your life was in danger, then so did your spirit.” She said calmly, “As for the war, I spoke too soon. That is a matter we should discuss when we meet in truth”
“But what if it does something that I don’t want it to do, what if it hurts someone innocent” I asked, the same worry that I had earlier that day, still flooding my mind.
She gave her head a shake, “No, it won’t do anything that you wish it not to do. Where it can, it will aid you but if deep down there is something that you do not want it to do, then it will not. In time it is possible that you can train it to obey your commands better, but that is a feat of years”
I sighed and accepted her response, I supposed that it was as much reassurance as I was going to get. Something else grew in my mind, something I had wanted to know for so long, “Who… Who are you?” I asked
“We do not have the time for that today, another time perhaps” she said with a sorrowful look. “And do not bring yourself here again. It is for your own sake”
I nodded my head and awoke once more in my room, a familiar sense of strength rushing through my body. I heard a strange sound and moved my head to look up, I saw Sara sat on my bed next to me, my head cradled in her lap as she cried. The warm tears splashed down on my nape as I stirred. “Are you okay Sara?” I asked, wondering why she had been crying.
She stopped crying and gasped, jerking backwards, and staring at me. “Wha…” she stammered, looking at me in disbelief with her puffy eyes. ”How?” she whispered.
I sat up, looking at her grief-stricken face and moving towards her, putting an arm around her shoulder. “What’s wrong? Why are you crying?” I asked.
“You… you were dead” she whispered. Her lip trembled as she looked at me, running her eyes over me as though trying to make sure that I was real.
“What?” I asked shocked. I had been draining the life from myself, but she was there to heal me, how could I have died. Besides, I was still here. “What do you mean I died?”
“I tried to heal you. I did” she sobbed, “But you were gone, there was nothing left to heal. You were dead Aucus” she said as tears streamed down her face. “And now you’re not. How is that possible?”
What was she saying? How could I have died, I felt fine. What if all those times that I had seen Lilith before, I had died. That first time in the village when Zarin was beating me, I felt like I was going to die and then there she was. That pain I felt at the test of divinities, no one could have survived pain like that; the blood coating me on that first night in the citadel; that fatal poison that was in my food. All of those, no one could have survived them all and yet here I was. Why was it every time Lilith answered one of my questions, I was left with more than I had before.
“I’m sorry Sara” I said at last. “I didn’t mean to scare you. I won’t do it again, I promise” I added as I hugged her close to me. I felt awful that I had scared her so much, she had been sat in the room with me, touching my body as I died. As far as she knew, that was the end of me. “I’m sorry”
She nodded her head against me, her tears having stopped as she hugged my tightly. “I was terrified Aucus. I didn’t think I’d see you again, I thought I wouldn’t be able to say anything else to you” she said.
I wanted to tell her what I had learned about my dark spirit from Lilith but could sense that it was not the right time to raise the subject. “It’s okay Sara. I’m here now and I promise I won’t be going anywhere again” I said, trying to comfort her. I hugged her tightly and could feel her embracing me back as her hair brushed against me.
“You better hadn’t” she said as we broke the hold on each other. “I don’t want you to go anytime soon” she added as she looked into my eyes.
“I won’t” I whispered as she nuzzled her head against my neck. At my words she looked up at me and then leaned in to kiss me.
It was a warm thing, her kiss. It sent a spark of electricity running through my body as my lips moulded to fit hers. I kissed her back, lost in the sense of pleasure as my hands ran down her back, holding her close to me. We stayed that way for minutes, kissing each other and enjoying the tickle of each other’s tongue as we probed into the other’s mouth.
At last the moment came when we parted from one another, both of us blushing as our actions hit us. I opened my mouth to say something but before I knew it, Sara lunged at me, kissing me again as she pushed me down on the bed with her on top of me.
I felt myself stiffening at the feeling of Sara atop me, our lips still passionately meeting one another as I ran a hand over her hips. She grabbed me forcefully and pulled up my shirt over my head, her hands feeling my chest as she pushed her tongue into my mouth.
I placed a hand behind her head, running it through the dirty strands of blonde hair. I sat up on the bed, by back pressed against the headboard as Sara straddled my lap, my manhood pressing against her in my pants as her hands stroked my chest and she leaned down to kiss me. In a sudden motion she lifted her own shirt over her head to display her small chest wrapped in a simple bra.
“Sara” I whispered as we broke the kiss for a moment.
“Shh” she said as she leaned back down to kiss me again. I couldn’t object to her in this state, she was going to get her way. I placed a hand on her round, shapely rear, squeezing it and enjoying the cushiony sensation as she moved her hands to my waistband and pulled down my pants.
My erection was displayed to her, and she smiled before lifting herself up and shimmying her own pants down, throwing them across the room. She grinned at me and placed one of her hands on my hardness, making it surprisingly harder with the motion. She began to stroke it gently as my hands ran over her scantily dressed body.
As her hand continued the pleasurable motion, I move my hands down her body and pulled down her undergarments. She grinned at me. “Aucus” she said in a flirtatious voice as she took one of my hands and slowly drew it across her quim. It was warm and moist.
She raised her body, holding my manhood in her hand as she guided it between her legs. I felt her lower herself onto it as I entered her body. She trembled with the sensation and lot out a gasp of air. She looked down at me, almost trembling. Quickly she leaned down and kissed me again, her soft breaths escaping into my mouth as she continued to raise and lower her body onto mine in a pleasing act.
I felt myself move deeper inside her as I started to move my body in concert with hers, she let out a loud moan but did not object to the motion as I held onto her. Her small breasts were pressed against my chest as she brought me closer and closer to my climax.
We continued the act for a while longer, listening to her erotic moans as I pressed my lips across her supple body, eliciting further moans from her. I was throbbing inside of her as the wet lips between her legs moved over my member, “Sara” I gasped as I felt my seed rising within me, “Sara, I’m close to…” I trailed off as I saw the look of bliss on her face.
She let out a loud moan as she clenched against my meat, her body shaking at the sensation. At the same time I released my seed inside of her, the white sap spraying into her and leaking out as she lifted herself off of me and collapsing on the bed next to me.
“That was…” she started to say. She stopped for a moment, searching for the word
“Good?” I suggested.
She giggled at that and nodded, “Yeah, it was good” she said draping a hand over my chest and kissing me again. She smiled as she lay on top of me, looking at my face.
We enjoyed each other’s company several more times that night, our moans echoing throughout the stone walls of the room. In the end we became exhausted from our passions and fell into a deep slumber in each other’s arms.
