One of the stations monsters escapes.

The space station had housed many different types of alien races with many different abilities. Some of these species weren't all to strange, maybe they were just simple creatures that were basically animals for a different world, or plants. Perhaps there might have even been some sentient beings kidnapped. Those were all the typical stuff Samus might have expected when investigated such an advance research centre.

What she didn't expect though would be that some of these species were more....parasitic in nature and for more unnatural. Some of these creatures weren't very capable on there own, they might even be severely lacking compared to others. However these creatures also had unique abilities such as being able to take control of a host a variety of ways, some arguably enhancing their host while others altered to see fit, and some merely just seizing control and taking their hosts body as their own. Such creatures had proven quite valuable in researching all these upgrades.

Now though...some of them wanted out. They wanted to escape this wretched lab and the perfect vessel to take them out had just walked in.
