Assess the situation.

With the initial explosion of water settled, you can make out a vague, dripping shape having arose from the center of the lake. Though your attention is quickly stolen by the squeal of Amara being pulled through the water, and lifted upwards by what appears to be a translucent blue tendril, and then another. Soon, her body is grappled tight by writhing water around her torso and between her legs. As the fluid moves slowly like slithering snakes, Amara lets out a **** whimper as it touches upon a very sensitive part of her body at present, and it does so in a frustratingly sensual way. Her face is radiantly red, and she hangs her lips agape as she pants for relief that cannot come.

It's a sea monster! That's your first thought anyway, though upon further inspection, the body doesn't seem as tangible as that. The tentacles grappling Amara and moving towards others nearby allow light to pass through, as if they themselves are made of water, and while you initially thought the body was still emerging, it seems the flowing waves are coming from a being consisting purely of water. All in all, it looks to be about the size of a large elephant, so not as much of a behemoth as it seemed when first crashing forth from the surface, though something needs to be done fast. "Freeze Wave!" you hear from ahead. Suddenly, the side of the watery beast hardens, as do two of its tendrils, in a flash freeze of magic from somebody magically standing atop the water nearby. It's Vivi--glistening pale skin, flowing white hair, hand out with sparkling glitter snowing from her fingertips as her spell has landed successfully. Then with her feet remaining atop the surface like a cute and sexy messiah, she brings an arm over her bust, and shrinks nervously. "That's what you get for catching me like this! Meanwhile, however, multiple other girls are grappled by unknown foes--the tendrils of the beast, though beneath the water, so impossible to see. Niki is dragged, and then Eva too. Yin and Peony are dragged after that, followed by both bodies of Sen-nu. Fang is next, and then Lalarin and Lynx. The water is certainly the most dangerous place to be at the moment, though it's also where your allies are being held! Thankfully not under the surface, but they're still in quite the predicament. Each are being grappled from two to four thin, wriggling, translucent tentacles, suspending them in the air. The only ones who remain below are you, Mistress Dajy, Yin, Snow, Alice, Delphi, Luna, Laira, Stax, Linzeri, Mina, and Rose.

"It isn't finished yet," says Dajy before clenching her teeth. She then leaps into the air. Unlike other succubi you've seen with tiny wings on their backs, the wide span of her own allows at least a temporarily flight--more like a glide--as she comes down towards what could be described as the monster's head.

Nyllia sprints past you, though in the other direction. She's going for her sword. "That is the largest water elemental I have yet seen! I wonder how long it was dormant beneath Crystal Lake."

Yin screams out in surprise, but she instantly teleports in response, putting a plume of black smoke right in your face along with her arrival. With the ice mostly melted, she could repeat the same spell to freeze half of it again, but now it'd be putting her allies in danger. "Usually they don't have so much reach!" she answers as she hustles in your direction. "But if this is a water elemental... no. They don't feel anything at all. They're mindless embodiments of their own element."
