Silence before the Storm

Two weeks have passed since Sarah heard last from Sadie. Albeit she still had to cope with the changes Sadie made to her, she was glad to have a bit room to breathe. Sarah tried to bleach her hair, to get her formerly blond back, however nothing she tried helped, she hair stayed red. She could cope with it though, especially since she actually received compliments for her new colour from her friends. Her increased appetite was a different story, as it was growing over time, but Sarah became weak just once, as she devoured a family sized pizza one evening. Luckily, that did not show on her body due to her healthy and fast metabolism.

Today was a special day: A full moon is about to show up and Sarah knows that she has to be careful. She wanted to stay in her room to avoid any risks. Sadie had different plans though.

It was evening and Sarah was at home. The curtains are closed, so that no moonlight can enter the room. Sarah was about to hop under the shower when she heard a knock at the door.

“Hello? Who is there?”? Sarah said out loud She wasn’t expecting any visitors

“It’s me Tammy! Will you let me in?”

Sarah was a bit confused about why Tammy was visiting her. The timing was bad, as the moon was surely rising already but as long as the curtains stay closed everything should be fine. And Tammy was her best friend after all, so why not spend the evening with her.

Sarah opened the door and heartily greeted Tammy.

„Make yourself comfortable, I was about to take a shower, and I really need that“, Sarah said to Tammy with a smile.

„No worries I can entertain myself“, Tammy have back.

While Sarah was under the shower, Tammy turned on the TV to pass the time. She didn’t really know, why she wanted to visit Sarah today, but she had this feeling that she had to do it. Suddenly a small flash emerged from the TV and a strange program turned on.

Tammy was instantly focused on the TV and couldn’t look away. The strange pattern burned into her mind and without her realizing awakened something inside her. It started slow with a light swelling of her finger, her socks burying a bit deeper into her ankle and her face getting just slightly rounder, but it is unmistakably that she is slowly gaining weight.
