Of course!

I watched nervously as the two women talked. From here it just looked like a pleasant conversation between two old acquaintances. In some ways, I suppose it was.

I still wasn't convinced that this was a good idea. Chloe had singled out an old classmate of hers as a good test of my powers. We were able to wait until she was relatively isolated before I worked my magic, but I didn't like being out in public like this. Besides, what if my commands didn't take somehow? The whole thing felt very risky. Then again, Chloe was helping me get out of my comfort zone and live a more full life. That would necessarily involve risks.

Chloe looked to me and brought her phone to her ear. I answered on the first ring. "What'd she say?" I asked with trepidation.

"She's in! But she has a list of things she wants. Some of them may be a little surprising."

I listened with incredulity. "Are you sure?" Across the park, Jess gave a thumbs up. I sighed and started walking over. "Chloe, you'll probably want to get away from her. We don't want any of these commands rubbing off on you."

Even from a distance I could see her grin. "Are you sure?" I rolled my eyes and hung up and she dutifully got up and moved away.

As I approached Jess, I saw the hesitant nervousness fade from her eyes. By the time I got there, of course, she was basically a vegetable. I put a hand on her shoulder to make sure she was fully out. "Jess?" I said gently. "Can you hear me?"

A few seconds passed before she managed an affirmative grunt. I took out my phone and opened a text from Chloe delineating everything she wanted, just in case I forgot something.

First things first. "Jess, you are a good person. You deserve to be loved, and you deserve to feel good." I found myself wishing someone could do this for me. She blinked and nodded in affirmation.

The second one was a little weirder. "Jess, you are in love with me. You adore me with all of your heart and mind. Just thinking of me gives you a thrill." Chloe had assured me that she wanted this. Jess had apparently spent her whole life wanting to be in love and had never found anyone she felt that way about. I figured we would probably reverse this one soon, but she wanted the experience of being in love. After I spoke, she nodded and I noticed her eyes grow watery with tears.

"Jess, you are proud to be bisexual. You feel no shame about your attraction to both men and women. Your love for me does not preclude sexual relationships with other partners, particularly Chloe." Aside from the last part, this one was a no-brainer. I felt good helping her be her full self.

"Jess, you like what I can do." Even more than the love command, this made me very uncomfortable. Apparently it was Chloe's idea but Jess readily agreed. "Both my ability to induce a trance and my ability to warp your mind are perfectly acceptable. You find yourself curious and eager to be experimented on." Now that I said the words, I felt gross for even doing this.

"Do you understand the things I've told you just now, Jess?" She stared at the ground, tears starting to stream slowly from her eyes. After a second, she blinked. "Yeah." She said thickly.

I turned to Chloe and motioned that it was done. I stepped away from Jess and backed away slowly. As expected, she began to blink and look around with confusion. As I left and Chloe approached, Jess became more and more lucid. At the same time, she gazed at me with an expression of elation and surprise. By the time Chloe reached her, she leapt up and hugged the other woman fiercely. I could almost hear her sobbing with joy. Chloe looked to me and smiled. It looks like our little crew had a new member.
