A Party!

The world around me changes and I look around. I step forward and see I'm in a room full of people. They're all looking at me. I can see tables full of silver plates covered in circular silver lids. There are plates and chairs around each table. Most of the people I see are wearing server uniforms with the two Guild's logos on them. Before anyone says anything I hear something behind me and turn around. I see a blue ball of light. Kagiyama steps out of it followed by Kallen. The others follow and the group in the room cheers.

"What's going on?" I ask and Kagiyama turns to me.

"We're celebrating. We've captured the Katorg Master and second in command. Not to mention, you slayed the Lich King." He says and I nod. Kagiyama leads me to a large table where he has me sit. He, Kallen, Sugano, Hino, Myla, my gramps, Asami, Innu, Luna, and Liz fill the other seats. The room soon fills with the sound of talking and cheering. It only stops once someone walks through the teleporter holding their hands in the air. They don't say anything but a moment later someone steps through. A group comes through, holding Barry and Riot. They're both bound and ****. The crowd erupts in cheer and applause. I remain silent through the whole ordeal and Asami taps my shoulder.

"Are you really okay Master?" She asks concerned and I nod.

"Yeah, I just feel out of place. I know I helped. I'm just not a big fan of these events." I reply and she smiles.

"It's too late for that. Now that we have a Guild Hall, we'll be holding these too." She says and I groan. She laughs before the servers walk up to the tables. They start lifting the lids off the plates revealing the food underneath. I notice the lids light up with magic circles. I briefly wonder if it was magic that kept the food fresh, or if it was a magic lock so no one would sneak a bite. I grab a steak and some mashed potatoes before Liz turns to me.

"Eric, where'd you get that weapon earlier? I've never seen it before." She asks and I hesitate to answer. I don't want to tell them about Prisma, but I can't think of a believable alternative.

"It's a long story. I'll tell you later." I say and she nods slowly. It's clear she won't let me forget, but that's fine. She's in my guild now so it's only a matter of time before I tell them about Prisma and Ayashi. As the party drags on, a single thought keeps coming back to me. The Katorg and Lich King are dealt with. Now all that's left is the Demon God and Ayashi. After an hour of eating and talking the servers come back out with wine. They pour me a cup, after Kallen forces me to drink. I take a sip and am shocked. I've never tried any **** before, but this one's nice. It's not overwhelming and it doesn't burn. I down the glass, surprising Kallen.

"Slow your roll cowboy." My gramps says as I ask for a refill.

"Oh, I want some!" Luna says raising her hand.

"Luna, how old are you?" Hino asks her and Luna tilts her head.

"I don't know?" She says after a few moments. Asami laughs before answering.

"You're nineteen Luna. I counted when you let me view your memories once. That's two years too young to drink." She says before drinking from her own glass.

"Why do you get one!?" Luna asks angrily and I chuckle.

"Because I'm twenty-one." Asami replies proudly. Luna starts growly and I laugh. I down my glass again and feel myself get lightheaded.

"How strong is this wine?" I hear my gramps ask Kallen.

"I'm not sure. Kagiyama do you know?" Kallen asks and Kagiyama nods.

"I told them to not spare on the wine. They got the strong stuff and a lot of it." He says and my gramps turns to me.

"He'll be feeling that tomorrow." He says as I get my glass refilled again. "So what's your guys' plan for the rest of the Katorg Guild?" He asks causing Kallen to groan.

"Do we have to talk about that tonight?" Kallen says and my gramps chuckles.

"You can just give me a short answer. I'm just curious. I doubt they'll just surrender."

"Okay, and you're right. We'll be looking around for them. We'll interrogate Riot and Barry. Even if they don't talk, it shouldn't take long to find the other members. We know Katorg was built to center around Riot and Barry. Now that they're gone, the rest of the guild will crumble." Kallen says and my gramps nods. Kallen looks at me and sees me drunkenly talking with Luna. She's asking to spar against me with my new Sword of Annihilation. "What's your plan with him?" He asks while motioning at me. "With his powers, it's practically guaranteed that people will try to exploit him."

"Nothing." My gramps says before taking a drink of his wine. "He's a smart one. He won't be controlled easily. Besides, with his power, who do you think would even risk it? Not to mention the ties he has with the three of our Guilds. If someone tried to, they'd be making an enemy of us." He says and Kallen nods.

"Yeah, that's true." He says before taking a drink.

"Please! Just one minute of fighting!" Luna begs and I shake my head no.

"No Luna, besides I can't control that power yet. I don't want to hurt you." I say and she pouts. "But if you want I'll fight you while it's like this!" I say while taking the Sword of Annihilation out of my inventory. It's in its pole form and she pouts more.

"Jerk!" Luna says and I laugh. I store the poll away and Asami turns to me.

"Eric, are you sure you need to keep using that? I know it's powerful, but it isn't safe." She says and I nod.

"Yep, I still need to fight the Demon God. I'm sure he'll be tough. I might not need it for that though. I'll have Verona and you guys. But I'll definitely need it for her. I think she'd kill you before you could summon your Souls. If we fight I need to use it." I say before downing the rest of my glass.

"Her?" Asami asks quietly. I put the glass down and lay my head on my arm. I'm facing Asami and see her worried expression.

"Yeah, Ayashi." I say quietly, practically whispering before falling asleep.
