Chapter 167

Found what?
It, duh.
I had decided it would be best to leave the Saltmoore girls to their own devices; finding out what Anaz had found would have to wait. Right now, I found checking the Domain to be a higher priority, seeing as that was both where we actually slept, and where... all our food was.
I hope changing the Domain hasn't destroyed it. Prissy would kill me!
Walking up the stairs of the Lamb-Chop, I finally get back to the Domain Door. I open it, and sigh with relief at what I find. No hill with a tree; at least, not at the entrance. There was still a side-door leading out to that most sacred of memories, but I thought it would be best not to make it a daily sight. Being so close to Her old room was bad enough.
I quickly move around the Domain, checking the new additions. The wood that made up the home-structure was now the same as the Lamb-Chop, matching the design of the hallways as well; Cilla had requested this change before I had placed the Domain in the machine, but I hadn't had the time. The upgraded (and enlarged) Dining Hall was pleasant, with those new squishy cushions ready to seat our behinds, and a child-safety lock placed on the infinite booze keg...
Should have done that sooner.
I pop into each room, checking the wardrobes of each to see if the spacial displacement was working; and it was. Each room could easily (and sneakily) transport you to the Bathing Chamber. The exception to this was Carrie's room... I didn't want her walking in on anything she shouldn't see. Now, to check the two new rooms, the one I upscaled, and a request Eve had made during breakfast at some point; something to help keep us all in shape.
First, Oro's room.
It was a slick, stone floored room, with a frameless, floor-bound bed; even larger than my own. It's size was needed, seeing as her snake-half would take up an entire bed on its own. The room has a Kinum's Sphere, set to keep the room in a state of warm humidity. The bed itself was a type of water-proof cloth from Oro's homeland; the same material as her clothing, according to her. This meant that the bed wouldn't start molding up from the humidity, or take moisture from her scales. Satisfied, I moved onto-
Kaki's Room.
This one was incredibly simple to make. Using the original default design of the Domain (a Yokong bathhouse) as a baseline, I was able to make a similarly designed room for the Inky Oni in question. The most notable trait of the room was it's entrance; a sliding, paper walls. The interior was rather lovely, with a queen sized bed, and a view of the hill and tree.
Both rooms would need more work, of course; but I barely knew their occupants beyond one calling me her husband, and the other having a Pocket-Kappa that could rip my fragment of a soul out through my ass. Ugh... Setting that aside, onto the new and improved-
Eve's Room.
After the Bose disaster, I thought It may cheer up the old Compuro to have some "new digs", as Ariel would say. No longer just a mere metal closet, there was now a full room, with a variety of useful tools for Eve's work. As Eve had a perfect memory, I felt it likely unnecessary to have a bookshelf that was as organized as Cilla's; instead opting for raw space. The bed had a few things I felt would be nice for Eve's... training sessions. With the press of a button, the metal flooring around the bed would slide away, with a large batch of soil underneath; allowing Eve to summon her various Vines, should she wish. There were more " traditional" bindings hidden away in a box beneath the bed itself, but that was up to my Clinician's discretion. Now, finally-
The Gym.
Eve had told me some time ago that I wasn't in the best shape for a Dragon. After our group's experience in the Arena, I couldn't agree more. The Gym was down a new hallway, turning what was a three-way, T shaped intersection into a four-way, cross shaped one. The new hallway was short, as I just needed to conceptualize an entrance to the damned place, and the old hallways were starting to get rather long with all the rooms.
The Gym itself had everything Eve had told me to add. Ranging from the complex Dwarven Infinite-Roads (or Treadmills, as Trixie called them), to a variety of weights, some of which are rather... absurd. There was a massive punching bag for Sammy to enjoy, as well as a selection of shrunken equipment for our other Earthling. There were more specific machines, but I wasn't exactly sure how they worked; I just went with what Eve was showing me from her notes.
"Wow. My sisters would love this place."
I nearly jumped out of my own scaled skin, I quickly spin to see Kaki looking around at the contraptions. "Don't do that! I nearly had a heart attack!"
"Don't do what?" The Inky Oni steps onto one of the treadmills. "Ooo, I've never been on one before; I've only ever heard of them. Infinite-Roads, right?"
"Or treadmills." I say, taking a seat on a mat. "I was just checking to see if I've set everything correctly. So far, so good."
"I saw my room. It's very nice of you to give me a taste of home while we're traveling together." She steps off the contraption, walking over to the weights. "Five Ton Weights? What in the world... how are they so small?"
"Spacial displacement." I answer. "Most of the rooms should be inside each other, and those weights should be the size of this building; but they aren't. The Domain just suspends reality where I've told it too... yay, pocket dimensions!"
I shake my hands in the air to finish the statement; finally, I explained something to someone else. Truly, today I am blessed... well, except for the whole losing the ability to use my only weapons thing.
Kaki seemed unamused. "Well, either way, I doubt any of you could lift five tons of anything... why even add them?"
"Eh, I think I could with Final Form, but I don't want Scott to stab me every time I'm working out." I say, walking to the exit. "Eve said that five tons is the standard for young, physically fit Dragons. So I went for five tons at the highest."
The Oni rolls her eyes.
"No wonder my sister was bedding you..."
"We fucked too, you know."
"... that's different!"
Well, that worked out.
