Chapter 326 by voidcaller17
What Happens Now?
Planning And Repairs!
We arrive at our guild hall and I see a familiar figure waiting for us.
"Liz? What are you doing here?" I ask and she smiles.
"There you are! I was thinking I'd have to wait here all day!" She says while walking up to us. She playfully hits me on my shoulder. "I heard from Kallen that you were getting the papers for this place today. As a member of your guild, I'm hurt you didn't tell me. Also, what's all this I hear about you getting kidnapped by the Devils! Do you have any idea how worried I was when I came back from the Dryads forest and heard all this!?" She says and I quickly summarize what had happened. She sighs before hugging me and quickly pulling me forward. "C'mon, let's go see the guild hall." She says and Luna runs ahead. We walk in and Asami holds the blueprint in front of me.
"Master, can you take a look at this?" She asks and I nod while looking at it. "I was thinking that we should do something similar to what the joint guild hall has done. We should expand this room and turn it into a reception area. There will be times when people come to meet with us for various reasons. So it'd be nice to have it at the entrance." She says and I nod.
"That's a good idea Asami. Do you have any ideas for it?" I ask and she nods.
"I was thinking we take down this wall here." She says while running her finger along a wall on the blueprint. "That would give us more room. Then we could put up some chairs and tables. Maybe a bench along the walls. We could put up a water machine here so they'd have drinks or something similar. After that, we should decorate it as we see fit." She replies and I pet her.
"What would I do without you." I say and she smiles.
"Alpha, hurry up!" Luna says tugging on my arm. I smile and follow her through the building. We plan out how we want the rooms. We decide on creating a large room for training, much to Luna and Innu's insistence. We plan on where to put an Alchemy room and storage for Ramia. I'm shocked to learn how much reinforcement she needs for the room's walls. We also decide to paint the inside and outside. Asami says we need to put up our guild's emblem over the entrance. Liz asked us to get the roof ready for a rooftop garden. She pointed out that it would be a good place for our future members to relax at. She even said that if we expect any Dryad visitors, the garden is a must. Once we're done we get back to the entrance. We step outside and look around.
"Are we doing anything out here?" Liz asks and I shrug.
"I'm not sure, I think we should wait until we finish the repairs and painting." I say and they nod.
"So who are you having do the repairs? Normal people or would you get Lyna?" She asks and I pause.
"I didn't think Lyna would do repairs." I say and she nods.
"There's quite a few Guilds out there that don't fight. Instead, they do repairs, crafting, blacksmithing, and the like. Most people call them support Guilds. But there are two nearby that'll do the repairs for us. And since they use magic they could have it done in just a few days. Of course, it is more expensive than normal." Liz replies and I nod.
"How much would they charge for this?" Asami asks her.
"Hmm. I'd say 320,000$ at most. But that includes the changes to the walls you talked about." Liz replies and I nod.
"That's 50,000$ more than the building cost." Asami says as I open my inventory. I look at how much money I have left and smile, seeing I have 650,425.86$.
"We can do that." I say and I hear Myla gasp.
"Wait, you have that much left!?" She asks in shock.
"Yeah, I have a lot saved up." I say and she nods. I don't want to say that I have double what I need because I'm not sure how'd they react. There's also the fact that I don't know where this money comes from. I could just be adding a bunch of money to the economy. I have no idea what ramifications that would have. But for now, I'll keep spending it. I still need to furnish the guild hall after all.
"Liz, what's the name of the two nearby support Guilds?" Asami asks.
"They're the Builtos Guild and Earthrise Guild. They both specialize in repairing and constructing new buildings. Since they're both in the same state they charge roughly the same. Although Builtos has a better reputation. Not that Earthrise is bad, they're just hardheaded." Liz replies and Asami nods. "Do you want me to get in contact with them for you Guild Master?" Liz asks and I chuckle.
"No! That's a job for the Guilds Secretary!" Asami says. I agree with her and Liz gives her Builtos's contact info. Asami says she's going to call them now and disappears. The rest of us walk around and pick up the trash that's gathered. Once we're done I store the trash bags away to throw away later. We then return to my Domain. I see Verona and Gaia talking.
"Welcome back." Gaia says when she sees all of us.
"How'd it go?" Verona asks and I tell them what we decided on. While talking Innu and Luna leave to go train outside. Myla and Hino join them after a minute. I check on my timer for my Seed of Chaos and see I still have an hour. As I finish talking Asami runs downstairs.
"Master, Builtos is on their way. They'll be here in two hours." She says.
"Already?" I ask in shock and she nods.
"They're sending someone over who will set up a teleporting device. That is if they take the job. They need to see the building and the blueprints to give us an estimate. Then they'll get to work. They said that it might be done by the day after tomorrow!" Asami says excitedly and I smile.
So Soon!
