Killing Devils

The Dragon finishes its roar and looks down at the Glass Devil. She crosses her arms and a large ball of molten glass appears. She sends it at the Dragon who opens its mouth. They use their breath attack and send flaming rocks at Glass. The rocks smash through the molten glass and Glass jumps back, barely avoiding it. The Dragon steps forward as a large flaming rock spike shoots from the ground. Glass tries to dodge it but can't get away. It pierces her wrist and tears off her hand. She shouts in pain as blood sprays from her arm. She gathers molten glass around it and stops the bleeding. She looks back at the Dragon and sees another breath attack incoming. She tries to jump back, but a ball of water stops her. She turns to see Sugano sending another water ball at her. The flaming rocks slam into her before she can react. The Dragon kills her before she can process she got hit. The Dragon turns to the other Devils before walking toward them.

What kind of training did Eric give these two? Kallen asks the others through his thoughts. Before the others can respond, a loud shout gets their attention.

"GLASSY!" The Devil of Strength shouts. He's engulfed in blue energy and running toward the Dragon. He's moving faster than he ever has before. The echo of his shout can still be heard as he kicks the Dragon's head. The Dragon falls, and their head lands on the ground. Strength lands and aims his fist for the Dragon's eye. Before he attacks, the Headless Horseman cuts his arm off. His head is in the air again and he has both hands on the sword. He brings his sword back up and aims for his neck. Strength blocks with his spikes and shouts with rage. Larion jumps up and kicks Strength in the back. Strength stumbles and the Horseman raises his sword. Strength goes to punch the Horseman but Kallen jumps in front of him. He blocks with his shield, and his spikes easily pierce it. The shield cracks as blood runs down his arm. Fortunately, Kallen stopped Strengths punch early, so he couldn't put his full **** behind it. If he had, Kallen would've lost his arm. The Horseman brings his sword down, aiming for Strength's neck and still using two hands. Strength pulls his spikes out of Kallen's shield and arm. Larion grabs his wrist and pulls him back. This lets the Horseman cut off his head without resistance. As soon as his head is severed the Horseman drops his sword. He steps back and catches his own head with both hands. The Dragon raises its head up but stays on the ground.

"You have my thanks for the support." The Horseman says to Kallen. Kallen nods while holding his arm. His shield is dropping pieces and dripping his blood. Sugano runs over and evelopes it in water.

"How is he?" Larion asks and Sugano sighs.

"He'll be fine. The Devil of Strength broke his bones with those spikes. But it's nothing magic can't heal. Now I've stopped the bleeding Kallen, but you can't fight anymore." Sugano says and Kallen nods. "You should return. Get someone to heal it up." She continues and Kallen shakes his head no.

"I'll stay. I want to see this to the end." He says and the Horseman laughs.

"You men never change. Always so stubborn." They say and Larion laughs as well.

"We should go help the girls." Kagiyama says and Larion stops him.

"We can't remember? They're fighting someone who can control men with her voice. Sugano could, but I doubt you have much maa to spare." Larion says and Kagiyama sighs. "Besides, I have a feeling we'd get in the way." He continues while pointing to Luna, Innu, and the Lady of The Lake. On the other side of the garden, Seductions on her knees. She's using both her sword arms to press against Innu. She's struggling under her raw strength. Seduction manages to kick off the ground and move back. Innu's blade crashes into the ground and she swings her sword arm at her. Before it connects a water person tackles her. The water falls as it fills with her pink inky poison. Immediately after Luna cuts into her back. She uses her claws to dig into her. She shouts in pain before falling to her knee again.

"Lakey! Hold her down!" Innu shouts out while growing her sword. She uses its ability again and brings her sword down. As she does, the last four water people above them come down. They turn into chains and bind Seduction to the ground. Innu's sword crushes Seduction and kills her swiftly. Innu retracts her sword before falling on her ass.

"Did you call me Lakey?" The Lady of The Lake asks.

"Yeah, Lady of The Lake is too long. Besides, I feel like Lakey suits you better." Innu replies, breathing heavily. Luna helps her up and the three walk over to the others.

"What happened to Eimbis and Barai?" Luna asks as they get close.

"No idea, you'd have to ask Eric." Kallen replies and she looks up.

"You guys survived!" Bergeth says, startling most of them.

"Bergeth, did you kill the Spatial Devil?" Larion asks and Bergeth nods. Bergeth's clothes are a mess, torn and disheveled. His white fur is dyed crimson from his blood to the point where most of its red with a bit of white.

"Yeah, He was tough but all he had was that space wall. Once I figured out that that was his Nuru it was simple. I just had to shove my claw through it and grab his neck and squeeze." Bergeth says making Larion nod slowly. "Anyway, how's Eric doing?"

"Not sure. We just finished ours, but it's not like we can fly anyway." Kallen replies and they look up. They see Verona get cut by Fears Nuru sword. They see Eric quickly cast Gaia's Embrace. After a few moments, the spell ends. Nine white tails envelop him and Fear. They fall to the ground and the tails retract before they make contact. Eric pulls Fear beneath him and lands on top of him. At the same time, Verona falls to the ground. She manages to stop herself from crashing by using the wind, but it's clear her wind's weaker than before.

Sorry for messing up the uploads yesterday and today. In order to get them back on track, the next chapter won't be released until the 16th the day after this one should've been released.
