The Salesmen

Yulia looks nervously at her friends, still tied to the chairs as she's escorted out of the throne room. The sahuagin bring her through the palace and back out to where they fought the Kraken before. The path takes them through a pair of shiny gates made out of pearl and then to their destination. A structure under the water. It's a simple shack made of rotted wood. Yulia is brought inside and inside she finds a human man. He's wearing a simple pair of black swim trunks and he has a toned muscular body with jet black, short hair. He smiles as she enters the two sahuagin following in behind her.

"Hello, you must be the chosen," he greets her. She glances around confused. There's nothing in this small shack, but him and now her and her two escorts.

"You... you're the weapon salesman?" she asks skeptically.

"I am yes. You my dear can call me Aqua. I understand you found a sack of shells, tell me where did you find them?" he asks.

"In a bird's nest," she responds and he nods.

"Yes that is where I hid them," he says and then he lifts his hand and fires out two bolts of energy that hit and instantly kill the two sahuagin. As they collapse he's suddenly standing directly in front of Yulia, "alright the let's talk, Chosen," he says.

"What do you really want?" she asks, her voice a bit tense, surprised by his sudden nearness and his killing of the two sahuagin.

"Chaos mostly. I am greatly enjoying watching these creatures kill each other," he answers earnestly.

"Are you a demon?" she asks and he grins.

"No. Though I am allied with them. I'm a former chosen like you, but I made the choice to align myself with the Tower Below. I had come here with the simple desire for power and I realized I could achieve that without reaching the top. Now I have power and I get to play with this world as much as I want," he explains, "I revel in causing chaos and pain so, igniting this cold war of sorts into a full on blood bath was something I couldn't resist. I do have another motive though, not mine of course, but one I was tasked with completing and through you, I can complete it," he says.

"What is it?" Yulia asks guardedly.

"It's simple. Have you met a merwoman by the name of Maeva?" he asks and Yulia hesitates before nodding.

"Levateinn wants her dead. I can't do it. She knows who I am and she prevents me from reaching her, but she won't be able to stop you. So, you kill her for me and in return... The war ends. Simple as can be," he offers.

Yulia stares at him and he smiles at her.
