She went to work

She walked into the building with her head down. She couldn't slouch, as much as she wanted to, thanks to the creature's magic. Instead, she walked in as modestly as possible, avoiding eye contact. She couldn't help but look over at Eric on the way. Ordinarily, he wouldn't even notice her walk past but to her surprise, he was already looking back at her.

Eric smiled.

She glanced away nervously and hurried to her chair, noticing a bit more bounce in her chest than she was used to.

"Eric smiled at me!" Amanda squealed. She beamed innocently as she took her seat next to Victoria, her desk neighbour and work-best-friend.

Victoria seemed less enthusiastic at the news. "No wonder," Victoria said, flippantly.

She felt hurt by Victoria's words. "What do you mean?"

Victoria groaned and wheeled her chair back, "I go on leave for a day and I come back to this." Victoria waved at her colleague's new look. "Bit ****, don't you think?"

She felt like she'd been punched in the chest. Her elation was gone. She had expected Victoria to be excited for her but that was clearly not true. She tucked her legs together on the chair and folded her arms in front of her new cleavage defensively.

"I didn't-- I don't-- What?" She paused for a second to decide what she would be allowed to say.
