Change of POV: Eddie

Eddie Munson was pissed. Royally pissed.

It had begun with him witnessing Chrissy rise up into the air, then the wind had torn her clothes off and she had started moaning and thrusting like she was being fucked by multiple invisible cocks. Cum had appeared out of nowhere, covering her face and tits while Eddie was rooted to the spot, bewildered and aghast.

Then Chrissy had disappeared and he had been blamed for her ****.

That had been a week ago. Dustin and Lucas dragged him into a lot of weirder stuff since then, enrolling him in a conspiracy with Nancy Wheeler, Robin Buckley and even Steve Harrington of all people. They had found out about a serial killer, a haunted house and then the portals to the gates of hell itself.

Eddie had played enough D&D campaigns to know how this next went. He wasn’t going to be a pussy like Bilbo Baggins and not accept the call to adventure. He had thrown himself into hell to try and help put things right. Dustin had believed in him. Eddie could have been the hero.

But the Upside Down had other ideas.

“Fuck you,” Eddie said to it as he heaved himself up and out onto dry land. It was going to take more than a bunch of tunnels and slime to wear him down. He could still fight his way out of here.
