What does she do now?

Tell Apollo the truth.

Chapter 2 by SeductiveSapphicGoddess

As if my body crumbled and gave way to my spirit, I felt rather compelled to tell the truth.

"I am from a distant land, Lord, and I beg forgiveness. In my home, we can traverse the temples as we please. I apologize for my ignorance."

Having no utter idea to whom I was speaking, I kept myself at polites and addressing.

"Filth, is what you are."

A warm, yet uncaring hand had grasped my forearm and forced my back in to a tree. I was face to face with Apollo, God of the Sun.

"I mean no harm. I was hoping to join this Temple." I was shivering, although his presence was warmer than any fire.

He snarled. "Once filth, always filth. Unless you can prove me wrong." His eyes left mine and followed my body. His grip on my arm lessened. "You might have what it takes." He said as he bit his lip.

I had never been in the company of another man, let alone a God, except for the Headless One, and my father. I was petrified to even be looking at him. I felt an unfamiliar heat rise inside me, and my knees wobbled.

"Weak, are you?" With a dissatisfied grunt, he freed me from his grasp. I fell on my butt and looked up at him with my poor brown eyes.

Neither of us spoke for sometime, and a bell rang somewhere notifying the other Temple members that it was sunrise. With a flash, he disappeared.
