The Kraken

As the Kraken's tentacles rise around them, Goma sounds the horn, Cherchiel puts on the Boar mask and Yulia energizes everyone, but herself. That done they evade the tentacles now flailing at the area and run to the edge of the island, leaping into the water and diving down below the reef. Below the reef is a surprising sight. The reef is apparently growing out of the top most spire of a massive sunken castle. Covered all over in aquatic plant life that has grown on the moistened stone of what seems to have once been a grand palace. Of course there isn't much time to focus on the palace as before the group lies the Kraken. The Kraken is itself a somewhat surprising figure. A central spherical mass with a large open mouth out of which all of it's tentacles are emerging. It has no visible eyes, the gaping, tentacle spewing maw, being it's only feature.

A quick identify is cast by Yulia.

"The Kraken, wandering Monster, a horrid monster that stalks the waves of Calumia, it can attack above and below the water, but when attacking above it is blind and must use it's sense of touch to find prey. It can control water making it very dangerous, especially below the waves and it has a near infinite amount of tentacles. It exudes a slime from it's pores, which also coats its tentacles. The touch of this slime against the skin, induces arousal. When underwater the arousing slime seeps into the water around it becoming an area effect though still less potent than being directly touched,"

"that's not ideal..." Yulia mutters as The Kraken's tentacles rush towards them. Goma tries to cast puppet on the Kraken and it seems to actually work, sort of. She doesn't seem to be able to fully control the Kraken, but it has to struggle against her control, slowing it's actions. The tentacles move quickly in the water, meanwhile the group are for the most part hampered by the water, shields move more slowly to get into position, Isalia's sword can't really swing, though stabbing is still effective, the same is true for Yulia's rapier and Goma's dagger. Boarchiel's spear works wonderfully however. As the fight against the tentacles continue though the aphrodisiac slime suffusing the water, begins to seep into the women and they begin to grow distracted, still they fight as best they can. The fight starts to turn however when the Kraken begins to use it's powers. The otherwise still water, suddenly develops currents that pull them around as they try to fight, disorienting them and making them take hits they could otherwise have blocked. A current spins Isalia around letting a tentacle wrap around her from behind and quickly bind her as she struggles. Boarchiel and Goma rush to help her, but another current pushes them away and into a whirlpool that forms, trapping the two of them and crashing them into each other. Yulia sees all of this as she also was heading to help Isalia, but stops. "we're losing this battle... I don't know if it's a good idea, but... The voice's did suggest..." she says and points her hand towards the Kraken's core. She cast's lightning strike and immediately the results are disastrous. It does hit the Kraken and disrupt the whirlpool, but it also spreads electrocuting every one in the immediate area. The Kraken, Isalia, Goma, Boarchiel and Yulia are all hit. The Kraken survives, but is badly injured and flees. The group however, were all badly injured and rapidly lose consciousness from the terrible shock. As The Kraken is gone and the four women are left badly injured, **** and floating. The Palace begins to stir. Doors and windows that had been shut open and from within the Palace emerge Sahuagin... Many of them and they quickly grab the **** women and bring them back to the palace.

Yulia awakens a bit later, her entire body twitchy and sore to find herself bound to a chair, Isalia, Goma and Boarchiel are also here and they appear to be in a throne room. In front of them sitting on a throne is the Sahuagin King. He's a large muscular figure, similar in appearance to the brute from earlier though unlike any other Sahuagin seen so far he's dressed in a flowing dark green robe and holding a scepter with a cruel looking spiked tip and he has a crown on his head, made out of stone with inlaid rubies, "Welcome to my throne room, chosen... You are lucky we saw your fight with the terrifying Kraken and decided to rescue you. Well... Rescue is I suppose... a bit of a misnomer. Capture you, we captured you, but you are still lucky. You are lucky you are in my throne room and not my dungeons, because as I said we saw you fight the Kraken. Though your fight was ill fated... You are powerful and so we thought you might be useful," he explains.

"Would you like to hear my offer? If not of course... You can always be sent to the dungeons instead. After all... While I can't prove that you are responsible... A squad of Sahuagin went to the surface and did not return..." he says with a cruel glint in his wide eyes.
