Chaos!

Verona, Gaia, Bergeth, and Luna appear in a large room. There's a table in front of them and a door behind them. At the table sit Kallen, Kagiyama, Sugano, Myla, Hino, Innu, Larion, and Claire. They all have their armor on and Luna had swapped to hers before returning to the Domain.

"Luna, what's going o... Is that Gaia!?" Kagiyama asks upon seeing Luna return with company.

"Yes, but that's not important now. We'll talk about it later." Verona says while walking to the table. She places her palms on it and looks around. "How many of you can fight the Devils?" She asks bluntly.

"What!? Why are you asking? And who are you?" Kallen asks while starting to stand up. Larion places his hand on his shoulder and holds him down.

"That's Verona, the Goddess of Knowledge." He says and Kallen goes wide-eyed.

"Thanks Larion, now answer the question!" Verona says and Gaia sighs.

"First, let's show why we need to fight the Devils." Gaia says while reaching out. The screen appears above her hand facing the table. Eric's standing next to the bars and looking around. "As you can see, Eric was kidnapped by the Devils. We don't know how, we just know he was." Gaia says and Verona hits the table. As she does so, Gaia makes the screen disappear.

"We need to go and assist him. Those Cuffs on his wrists prevent him from leaving and using any magic that requires mana to activate." Verona says and the others look around.

"How are we going to get to him? Do you know where he is?" Sugano asks.

"He's in the Demon Gods Domain. But I placed a certain link on him, similar to Gaia's here. Mine allows me to teleport to him. I can take up to seven others with me." Verona says and Sugano nods.

"I'm going!" Bergeth shouts, stepping forward and making himself known. The others haven't noticed him up until now, too shocked from seeing Gaia.

"Who are you?" Myla asks confused, having never seen a Beast Man with more than two tails.

"I'm the mighty Bergeth!" He replies causing the table to go silent.

"As I said earlier, we'll talk about this later. Now who else is coming, I have six more openings." Verona says and the others look around.

"I'm going." Larion says while standing up. Verona nods and looks around.

"Me too!" Innu says while running around the table. She joins Luna who nods.

"We will too, right?" Kagiyama asks Kallen and Sugano. They both nod and stand up. They walk over to Verona and Gaia steps back.

"Gaia, is he still in the cell?" Verona asks and Gaia makes the screen appear. They see five Devils near Eric. He's standing against a wall and holding his Dark Weapon up. the Devil of Strength and Glass Devil stand a few feet away and are ready to attack. "Shit! We have to go, now! Innu get Giagantomakia ready!" Verona shouts as a bright green wind envelops the eight of them.

I step back from the ball of raging winds as eight people pop out. First, is Verona followed by my gramps, Bergeth, Kallen, Kagiyama, Sugano, Luna, and Innu in that order. The Devils look at them in shock before Fear begins an attack. Innu raises her sword as soon as she's out. She makes it grow and destroys the roof. I feel a gust of wind violently pull me behind her as she swings it down. She destroys the hallway and the Devils all duck into different rooms. As soon as the sword shrinks I feel the wind lift me up and carry me through the roof. I see the others all get pulled too and I look around. I see we were in a large castle. It's made of black stone and has dark red torches lighting up the outside. We get set down onto a large rooftop garden. It's bigger than my school's running track.

"Eric come here," Verona says as we land. I run over to her and the others start looking around. Except for Innu, she looks like she's barely able to walk.

"Verona, what are you doing here? How'd you even get here?" I ask as she takes my hands.

"We'll talk later. We need to survive first." She says while closing her eyes. I feel a gentle breeze around my wrists. A moment later a small crack appears on the Cuffs. They slowly grow to create a large crack from the top to the bottom. Another crack appears on the other side and grows until the Cuffs fall off. I immediately switch to my armor as I feel a sharp pain in both my hands. My Familiar Marks glow red as the pain intensifies. Eimbis and Barai jump out of the glowing Marks. They land as the glowing stops. I notice they're bigger now. Eimbis used to be as tall as my thighs and Barai was up to my knee. Now they each reach my stomach, and they're longer now. I remember Eimbis grew from leveling up and realized that's why they're this big now. "The Marks reached their limits. They couldn't store the Dragons any longer." Verona quickly explains while looking around."Innu, can you fight?"

"After a minute." Innu responds and Verona pulls a vial of green liquid out of the air.

"This will help. It'll give you a burst of stamina, but you'll feel incredibly sore in an hour or two." Verona says before Innu drinks it.

"Are we fighting them here?" Kallen asks confused.

"Yes. We're in their Domain. They have nowhere to run. It's the best chance you'll get to finish them off." Verona says and I nod. "But just in case, Eric make Bergeth a Citizen of your Domain. That way we can all escape if needed." She continues and I nod. I take Bergeths hand and make him a Citizen. A purple crystal appears on his fur-covered arm. It looks like it's embedded into his arm.

"Any ideas for what Devils we should take?" My gramps asks Verona.

"Yes, Larion you sh..." Verona starts before I stop her.

"Hang on, let me Call some help." I say interrupting Verona. I reach out and Multicast Call Faye and Call Spirit. The two circles appear and the Headless Horseman and Lady of The Lake appear from them. They each look around for a moment.

"I see no Devils." The Headless Horseman says.

"They're on their way here." I say and they nod, at least I think. They lift up their head and slowly move it up and down.

"Did you form a contract with them?" Sugano asks in a bit of shock. I nod and Verona claps.

"This is good. Headless Horseman, I want you to help Larion here." Verona starts before pausing and pointing to my gramps. "The two of you will fight the Devil of Strength. Bergeth you need to take the Spatial Devil. Take him away from here though. He can stop us from entering our Domains. If we flee, I'll warn you with the wind. You should be fast enough to get out of his range of interference. Then you need to leave. Innu, Luna, and the Lady of The Lake. You three will take on the Devil of Seduction. She can control men with her voice, so try to keep her away from the guys. Kallen, Sugano, Kagiyama you three will take on the Glass Devil. She specializes in ranged magic, so get in close. Eric, you and me will take the Devil of Fear. He's easily the strongest of the Devils, so prepare yourself." Verona says and I nod. Eimbis and Barai roar and she looks at them. "Right, Eric can they handle a Devil?" She asks me while pointing to my Familiars. I shrug before looking around.

"Eimbis, Barai, help Kallen and the others." I say and they run over to them. I keep them in my party so they get the bonus from my necklace. I also disable their notifications. I discovered I can mute my party member's damage notifications thanks to Luna and Innu. I won't see when they get hurt or when they attack. I also won't see if they defeat any Devils until I check my notifications.

"Here they come!" Verona warns as five figures land ten feet away.
