Look for a quest [Majority Vote]

As the sun shinned through the window Yessil felt herself rising up despite her best efforts to stay in a while longer. She scurried under the blankets and tried to sleep off the remaining soreness of her body, but it seemed to be a fruitless endeavour. She could feel her eyes coming awake and her brain being too loud to go to rest anymore.

Eventually the young caster simply gave up and got up form the bed. She moved slowly, still tired and feeling sore all over. She managed to sit on the edge of the bed, letting the blankets fall off her body and exposing her delicate skin to the nice breeze. She looked around and was surprised to see that there Lizette was nowhere to be found.

The half-elf stood up and began dressing once more before spotting a delicate envelop resting on the night table. Once she had her robes on she took the letter and began reading.

“Kitten,

It was delightful to hear you moan your little heart out last night. I haven’t had the pleasure of seeing such a fragile thing squirming under my fingers in quite a while. You were fantastic and I would love to meet again.

Tonight you had a taste of what I am capable of. However, if you really want to see what I can do please do look for me at my tower. I am sure it will be pleasurable for the both of us.

Love, Lizette.”

Yessil felt her cheeks flush beet red while reading the letter. She slapped herself a few times trying to contain her emotions and sighed heavily. Looking through the envelop she noticed another small note detailing instructions as to how to reach Lizette’s tower.

The half-elf took the papers on her hands and considered the idea of meeting the older caster. Having a relationship with her could be quite beneficial if she was as powerful as she presented herself to be. The fact she had managed to summon so many tentacles at the very least showed incredible control of magic.

Ultimately, she shook her head and dissipated the thought. She had just become an official member of the adventuring guild and she was going to live like it. She wanted to go on more adventures and see the world. She wanted to become a hero and prove herself worthy.

Yessil did sigh longingly while looking at the letter. She placed the paper on her bag and began making her way through the hallway and down to the main guild hall. She was going to get some adventures down and then maybe visit the caster again.

As she stepped to the quest board a tall lizard-man moved to the side allowing her to get a better view. Yessil nodded in gratitude and began inspecting the quests, scanning for something she could handle on her own. Looking through the posts some seemed completely uncapable of being taken care of on her own, but a few appeared simple enough that her magic would do the trick.

There were apparently a few problems dealing with orcs on the south that needed taken care off. Considering her success with the goblins she thought this might be easy enough to handle, although she had heard stories of how powerful orcs could be. She had also heard they were dumb as bricks so she would most likely be able to outsmart them if worst came to worst.

She continued to look through the pages and noticed that one seemed rather familiar. Looking through the job description it seemed like the chef’s quest for ingredients from the Great Wilds had become available for everyone. If Lionel had thought it was a good quest for her to take with no experience then it was definitely something she was capable of doing with Lizette’s scroll and a bit of actual combat training under her belt.

Lastly, she spotted a quest that required someone to go to a mine to rescue some miners. A tunnel had collapsed and adventurer’s were needed to rescue them, clear the tunnel, and try to find out what had happened. Not the fanciest job, but it would let her help people.

Yessil closed her eyes and thought about it for a while.
