More Shocks

We walk to the guilds together and enter. The guards outside recognized us. Luna and Innu hug me bye before leaving for the training area. I walk down the halls but can't find Strom. I end up back near the front and ask someone. I ask a Wolf-Man who's wearing a suit.

"Strom is currently meeting with the Guild Masters. He's talking to them about the Oni corpses I believe. Do you want me to show you where they are?" He asks and I nod.

"Yes please, that'd be great." I say and he nods. He leads me back down the hallways and to another room. He knocks before opening the door and stepping back. I thank him before entering.

"Eric, what can we do for you?" Kallen asks. He's sitting at a table with Kagiyama, Sugano, Myla, Hino, Strom, and Sally.

"Sorry for interrupting. I was looking for Strom." I say and he nods.

"It's fine, we were done anyway. But why do you need Strom?" Kagiyama asks.

"I got another Familiar and wanted to ask him to look at it." I say and Strom jumps up.

"Where is it? Did you bring it?" He asks and I nod.

"Is it fine to bring it out here?" I ask.

"Yes, as long as it's not too big and it won't break anything." Sugano says and I nod. I bring out Barai and Eimbis.

"You got another Dragon?" Kagiyama asks, shocked and amazed. The two Baby Dragons start playing on the table. I make sure to order them to be careful and not to break anything.

"Yeah, this one is a Rock Dragon and as you can see, Eimbis is pretty fond of them." I reply and Strom chuckles.

"How many Altered Circles does this one have?" He asks.

"This one has four Altered Circles. And Eimbis's Mark has gained another Circle." I say causing Strom to freeze. He stays perfectly still for a moment before suddenly running over to me. He takes off my gloves, I had made another before leaving and he looks at the Marks.

"This is amazing." He whispers.

"What is it?" I ask and he steps back.

"Sorry, I got a little too excited. Your Marks have gained a Synergy Circle. It's a special Circle that only people with multiple Familars can have. It means your two Familiars have a special skill or ability that they can only use while together. They both need to activate it together for it to work. However, I can't tell you what it is. These are incredibly rare, and I've never seen one for a Dragon. I have no idea what it could be. But you should be able to discover it through training. Oh! It's not necessarily an attack spell or skill though. I've heard of a few that could boost other's magic or make plants grow faster." He says and I nod. "But I can tell you that your new Marks Altered Circles are the same as Eimbis's. She has Increased Growth, Summon Familiar, and Increased Power. I'm still looking into the last Circle." He continues and I nod again.

"Thank you But did you say she?" I ask and he nods.

"Yes, this Rock Dragon is a female." He says and I nod.

"Did you come up with a name yet?" Hino asks.

"Yeah, I named her Barai." I reply and see Myla looking at her. I have Barai turn to Myla and let out a gentle roar. Myla smiles and starts petting and hugging the Baby Rock Dragon. Maybe I should've had Myla Imprint the Dragon. But I don't think Rock magic and Light magic would work well. Wait... Shit! I forgot about the Rock Dragon Spellbook. I need to read that later. I think before sitting down after Hino motioned for me.

"How did you find the Rock Dragon?" Kallen asks while Strom starts measuring Barai and Eimbis.

"I found her Egg in a mountain Dungeon. There were Rock Wyverns and the boss was a Rock Dragon." I reply and he nods.

"What did you use to get past the Dragons scales? They have, arguably, the toughest scales of any monster." Sally asks and I smile.

"I made a new Katana recently, that's what I used. Luna used her claws and Ancient Beast Magic. But Innu got a new Mythical sword recently. It's called Gigantomakia and it has a skill that allows her to attack with the strength of a Giant." I explain and Kallen sighs.

"Why is it every time I see you, you and your guild blow me away?" Kallen says and I chuckle.

"Anyway Eric, do you have plans? I'd like to have another match with you." Kagiyama asks and I nod.

"Yeah, I'm going to train with Eimbis and Barai." I say and he nods. "But Luna and Innu are training here now." I continue while getting up. I thank them before leaving. I let Eimbis and Baria walk down the halls with me. The people I pass look at the two Baby Dragons with both awe and fear. I store them in my Marks before leaving the building. I walk down to the park and enter the clearing. I still think a Nature Elemental Dungeon would be the best here. Barai might not have the elemental advantage. But I can keep her close just in case I need to store her away. Before that though, let me Observe them and the Rock Dragon Spellbook.

Rock Dragon SpellBook

This Spellbook contains the knowledge of Rock Dragon magic. Reading it will teach you how to manipulate the earth and use it to attack. Only Dragons or a similar race can understand and read this book. Requirements: You must possess more than 300 Wisdom.

I smile, seeing I have 363 Wisdom. I read the book before casting Create Dungeon and selecting Nature Elemental as the monster type.
