Onward to Adventure (third person)

When our group arrives at the village, they are shocked to find it deserted and ransacked.

"Halt", warns Paladin, while Wizard bumps into him, dropping the book he was reading.

"Everyone... be quiet. Rogue, you search the surroundings for danger. Cleric, look for remaining villagers who might need aid. Fighter, go with Cleric and protect him. Druid, maybe some of the animals can tell you what hap..."

"Pffft", mocks Wizard from behind, "I'll handle this. Watch." He rolls up his sleeves, raises his hands, and speaks a few arcane words, as his eyes turn a pale white. "I can see them... 3 hours ago. Drow. And they're long gone".

Cleric's face turns ashen at the mention of the fearsome dark elves, known for their cruelty and wickedness.

"The birds tell of the way they took!", Druid shouts from the villages edge, and points into the forest.

"Make haste then!", Paladin urges, "Look for survivors quickly, and if none are found, we'll go after the foul evil!"

After a quick scan of the village the group finds not a soul left, the houses have been searched well, and any valuables have been pillaged.

The heroes stock up on any food and drink left behind, and set off into the directions provided by Druid.

After just one day of brisk marching, the group arrives at the nearby mountain range. Here, at the entrance to a cavern, are remains of a camp strewn about.

The heroes nod to each other with grim faces, before delving into the dark before them.

Paladin raises his shield and goes first.

Rogue, with a twirl, brandishes a dagger in each hand.

Wizard conjures a small globe of light.

Druid lets the raven, which was the last of the animals to guide them here, fly towards the sky.

Fighter, with a twinkle of anticipation in his eyes, lights a torch.

Cleric sends a prayer to Sune, may she guide them in these realms, bereft of beauty...
