"Not what I was expecting"

"Huh." Cordelia blinked in stupefied astonishment.

Xander shrugged.

"I mean...." Cordelia gestured around to convey her bafflement, "I didnt expect that."

"Yeah." Xander nodded his head.

"Faith is a submissive." Cordelia slowly nodded her head. "Okay. Big strong butch slayer wants to dominated. Okay."

Xander cleared his thoat, "Um... do... uhm... do you... y'know... erm... ever... uh... want to..." he ducked his head as he blushed.

Cordy smirked, put her hand under Xander's chin and raised it so he could look at her. "I might have a few fantasies in that area. Sometimes I'm not even the one in control... Master Xander."

"Wow." Xander grinned goofily.

"Surprised?" Cordelia waggled her eyebrows.

"I... it... it took me by surprise." Xander agreed.

He groaned, "I think me being surprised and not saying anything is kinda why Faith threw me out right after. I think I embarassed her." He winced. "I mean you got to really trust someone and let yourself be really **** when you do something like that... and I just kinda... stared at her."

Cordelia winced as well. "Yeah, that... that is not great."

Xander looked quickly at Anya, he nodded his head in her direction, "Should I..."

Cordelia snorted, "No Doofus. Just apologize. Be sincere. You don't need to play an ace when a two will do."

Xander bobbed his head, "Rrrright. Right. Apologize. Big thing, apologizing. Very inportant to do when you screw up."

He looked at Cordelia, made eye contact and then he quickly blurted out, "I'm sorry I made you a Slayer I just wanted to make sure you had the power to defend yourself from anything that could harm you because I never want anything bad to happen to you."

Cordelia smiled and reaching up she cupped his cheek, pulled him in and kissed him.

Pulling back she traced his lower lip with her thumb, "Doofus. I figured it was something like that. Its why I wasnt that angry."

Xander sighed in relief.

"Just dont ever tell Joyce your the reason why she became a Slayer. She seemed mighty pissed when her new superstrength revealed her new boyfriend was a robot. Iv3e heard her bitch a time or two about regretting coming to Sunnydale since she thinks moving here triggered her Slayer...ness."

Xander smirked, "But what a way to go, crushed between a beautiful blonde's thighs."

Cordelia smacked his chest playfully, "Doofus!" She then wrapped her arms around Xander's waist and gave a little squeeze. "Joyce is really freaked out. She's afraid she'll snap a normal man in two if they have sex. Her dating prospects were slim before... finding a good man in Sunnydale is hard. Add in single mother with super strength..." Cordelia bit her lip. "I think Joyce is getting ready to write off all men and just invest in a really sturdy vibrator."

"Well, that sucks." Xander grumped. "We got to do something nice for her."
