The Master of Slayers

Things were changing around Buffy and Faith as Xander and Cordelia wished but they had been patrolling together before and still were.

"Let me tell you something B, Xander knows his ways around the curves. You missed out not jumping his bones."

"Ok, maybe. But the first time he saw me he asked if he could have me. And then I found out Willow was into him... I couldn't go for him. By the time he saved me and I started noticing how studly he was getting it was to late. So is something going on with you two? Cause I thought him and Cordy might get back together."

Faith actually turned anxious. "yeah, probably not. I kinda threw him out. I doubt he liked that."

"If he was that good why the hell would you throw him out. Cordelia's gonna kick you butt for taking his first time as a quickie!"

"I kinda callledhimmasterwhenIcame."

"Master? Oh, my god. I'm kinda not surprised you're into that kind of stuff. But I figured you'd want folks calling you Mistress."

"Come on B..."

"You know it's not polite to toss your Master out in his underwear."

Watcher's Council headquarters.

"The boy is the Master of Slayers. It is the only way to account for the mass calling and the awakening of his own powers."

"I swear a teenage American is only marginally better than a demonlord."

The prophecy of the Master of Slayers had been a nightmare for the Watcher's Council since it's inception. They had been centuries destroying resurrection spells and the bodies of fallen Slayers so sure were they that the prophecy could only be fulfilled by some necromantic spell. None in their ranks had ever considered CPR as the cause triggering for this most dramatic prophecy.

"So what have we learned?"

"According to Zabuto Kendra is growing increasingly obsessed with him and it's harder to keep her from Sunnydale."

"Many of the new girls say they feel a masculine presence watching over them. No matter how they feel about other men, it is very comfortable and welcome."

"I had one of the field Watchers test a lesbian Slayer who also IDs strongly as feminist with the phrase "Your master would be.... Apparently she never objected to the concept of her having a male master and tried to press for information about him. She was finally calmed by telling her she would most likely meet him when the time was right"

"A few other Watchers in the know have tried similar actions. The girls all subconsciously know of their master, but get by fine without him, but the more they know the more they want to know. Our reports from Sunnydale suggest them Slayers there may be somewhat protected by knowing him before his and their calling, though Mr. Giles not knowing of the prophecy may affect his reports."
