A Dinner with the Captain
You find some peace. There are repairs to be done, but the crew has it well in hand and needs little supervision.
”We did well,” says the Captain. She joins you by the railing, and the both of you look over the labouring mariners. ”Join me tonight,” she says, ”for dinner. We do deserve a moment of rest.”
THAT EVENING
The Lord of Light has died and the Empire is in its throes. Fey currents rule the Sea of Mists, and only the brave and the foolish dare navigate the treasonous waters. You are one of them.
