Kang scowled lightly, stoic as ever, masking his rage beneath dutiful cause- to himself. This self, mind you. There was no room for trust in the conquest and righting of temporal chaos across the multiverse.

Hands behind his back, he flicked one finger absentmindedly, pacing the top floor of his Citadel Out Of Time, something he had coined in his head for the prison empire he now inhabited. Category and label helped- otherwise, it all blurred together.

A number of monitors rose from the floor, supplemented by completely holographic screens as well, forming a sort of dais and surrounding audience of pictures, footage, and graphing.

"I suppose it's worth a try- if tacky for my tastes. But in all of time- there comes a time for every method of conquest."

He turned up the audio, grinning ever so slightly before righting his composure. "I have every trick in the book, Avengers, heroes, interlopers. I've read the book, I've revised it, I've written it myself. Let's see if this is the key for this lock."
