I certainly wasn't going to turn something like that-having someone travelling with me who actually wanted to be there would be a pleasant change of pace. However, I was more than mildly curious as to why she would be so eager for such a thing-you'd think they'd at least balk at the methods. Focusing my gaze upon her as I started applying my mark managed to find an easy enough solution. She always had crippling anxiety about making decisions-and so, was a natural follower, and the idea of being able to be directly controlled was a small fantasy of hers. Well, strokes and folks, who am I to judge?

What was a bit more pertinent than the past, would be the future. I'd already decided to go dungeoneering, now I just needed to solve the question of where. With two locals under my control, it was a simple manner of asking. Well, ordering them to tell-while the deer might have easily coughed it up, I'm sure the dragon would look for ways to refuse any but the most direct commands. Fortunately, they both seemed to agree on a point-of a place comparatively close by that had gone un-raided. Apparently, the puzzle to open it had gone un-solved. When I asked why somebody didn't try, say, mining into it, I was simply informed that the same magic that made dungeons made trying that a very, very bad idea.

As we started sallying forth, I decided to do a small experiments while I confirmed my latest abilities acquired from my monstrous level ups. For the experiment, I wondered if Broodmother and Warmth interacted-and would let me lay unfertilized eggs because of Warmth built-in control. And so, the dragon was carried within my form as an ovipositor nestled deep inside inside her, swelling her belly with as many of the somewhat gooey things as I could fit into her. And we'll see if it works based on whether those start hatching in her over the next few days.

And last off, I searched around with my gaze on myself for a bit to look for new skills-fortunately, easier to find than last time since these were actually new ones, and not changing old ones. A shame, since it meant I was stuck with with some useless stuff.

Alternative Delivery(Harvester of Poisons)(Level 1)-Modify an alchemical substance produced by the body so that it can be absorbed by a different manner, at the cost of 55-(5*level)% of its potency. Currently available delivery methods are Ingested, Contacted, Injection, and Inhaled.

Stabilize Flesh (Flesh Stealer)(Level 1)-Can control own body to maintain all stats of your True Form at minimum 5% strength and all abilities , regardless of form changes. Can also stabilize a feature formed from the Form Library so it requires no effort to maintain, maximum one feature per level.

Alright, the first was sweet, but the second was obscene. Even if I got nothing else that changed my form, being able to pull some of my more monstrous tricks in my human guise while still having the safety of reverting when slain seemed useful. I do somewhat wonder how, exactly, the pharmacology of that first ability might work, but that's probably one of those 'it's magic, I don't have to explain crap' that I have to learn to deal with.

So, with new girls to tag along, a new set of exciting possibilities, and a clear goal, I set out again, eager for my first taste of what a dungeons might be like.
