You had messaged the two siblings employees to meet you at your farm to get started on some basic work to get them use to your expectations.

After a few minutes of waiting emily arrived alone.

"Hey Emily. Will your brother be joining us soon?" I ask

"About that. He was helping the mayor move some furniture and threw out his back. He's gonna be unable to work for at least a few days." She said meekly avoiding eye contact.

I never expected Markus to be so irresponsible to put himself in that situation but im sure the mayors influence had something to do with it.

"Sir im so sorry. Markus is too. He knows your probably very upset with him but please don't fire him over this." Emily begged.

Considering i already laid the foundation of being strict and dominant with Emily, i continued with this tone.

"Listen. I dont have time for this right now. I now have to do twice the work because of Markus. I want this house sparkling. And while you do so think of a good reason why i shouldn't fire your unreliable brother." I said in an angry huff. And left a teary eyed emily and went to work.
