You accept

You look at both your mother and Maddie thinking about it this way you know the downside to you as long as you can stick it out until the end and to be fair you weren't sure what you were going to do after college so at least for 4 years you could be making a killing before deciding what you want to do and your father had said like him you needed to pay for your college by yourself and this would take care of that. So in the grand scheme of things, this works out the best for you.

As the waiters begin to bring out the drinks and appetizers for the table you look back to both of them after accepting the drink and say, “To the future. As long as I have both of you by my side I'm sure that I can handle anything that comes my way thank you, Maddie, I'm glad I met you last night and Mom this means a lot that you helping me out like this. I really appreciate it both of you.”

Both Maddie and your mom smile and raise their glasses in a toast to you and say “To, Ashley's bright future in the industry.”

"Your mom says, "I will call up the studio tomorrow and have the lawyer that I use draft up the paperwork for them and us to look over, if that is okay with you, I assume you will want me to be your agent?"

You laugh and say, "Yes, of course, Mom, I would not have it any other way.

With that, you all take a drink of the champagne and move on to more mundane topics about how you and Maddie met how Maddie and your mom met and a number of different topics it was really quite a pleasant evening
