"What good is all that willpower?" Jake asked, pouring even more energy into her writing body. "If you don't wake up soon, you'll die, pup!" He raised his voice to a roar to be heard over her screams of agony. "What good is all that determination?" Smoke began to rise from Valkyria's body as her skin began to burn.
