Sarah looked at Valkyria for a long moment, processing her words. Her anger seemed to be fading, but she still couldn't shake emotions vying for her attention, betrayal, empathy, anger, embarrassment, shame, and still, respect.

"I don't know what to think," Sarah admitted, her voice low.

Valkyria watched as Sarah's expression shifted, unsure of what was going through the other woman's mind. After a few moments, Sarah spoke up. "I can't believe Jake would do something like that," she said, shaking her head. "It's not just about pheromones or whatever. That kind of behavior is just...wrong."

Valkyria nodded in agreement, feeling a pang of guilt for bringing up Jake's story in the first place. "I know, I should have never brought it up. I'm sorry."

Sarah's expression softened slightly. "It's okay. I'm just...trying to process all of this," she said. "I mean, I never thought of myself as someone who would be into that kind of thing."

Valkyria leaned forward, her voice low and intense. "When I talked to Jake about it, he said that the pheromones only work by lowering inhibitions. They can't make you do something you wouldn't ever do. They just make it easier for you to express what you're already feeling deep down inside."

Sarah frowned. "But I'm not like that. I'm not a submissive. I've never wanted anyone to dominate me."

Sarah looked at Valkyria for a long moment and took a deep breath before responding. "I don't know," she said, her voice hesitant. "I mean, it's not like I'm totally against the idea, but...I'm not sure I'm ready for that kind of vulnerability again."

Valkyria nodded in understanding. "That's okay. It's your call. But I want you to know that I'm here for you, whenever, if ever, you're ready."
