Chapter 39
by SingingLark
Capital or Caravan?
Capital
She was surprised to see an army waiting for her before she could reach the capital. The Orcs, numerous as they were, lined in such as way that the bulk of the caravan would be visible, easily their side outnumbered the humans more than three to one if you counted everyone that followed them. Of course most of them were non combatants.
Captain Scro and Liandra walked side by side, he was dressed for war, she was dressed for gala. Both couldn't be more different from the fine knights that rode to greet her. And first of them, of course, Knight commandar Sir Kreyos.
It was a war parley, both sides posturing in front of their enemy. Boast and claims were made, and challenges. Liandra endured as much as she could, out of respect for them all, but she couldn't let her people be butchered by the other side. That she didn't know who 'her people' were shouldn't be a surprise.
"Sir Kreyos, I swear I am not being held hostage, nor are these people following us against their will. This man that you are threatening is my husband, and these people are our own, they decided to follow us on their own. Noble and commoner, they are just coming for a wedding festivities, no one is looking for bloodshed" Not strictly true, most orcs gladly take whatever chance they have for combat, but close enough, Liandra decided.
They could see the many irregulars, and knew they couldn't be Nocternians. And if they truly had more noble hostages... it had to be re evaluated.
"I cant let this horde come a step closer to the Capital. Even if it costs my life" Thankfully the princess answered before her Orcish lover did "Then just ask for my father or my mother to come. I am sure we will be able to solve this ill understanding."
The King and Queen both came in the next morning. They rode magical steeds, and their honor guard outnumbered the three orcs presence in five to one. Still it began very tense.
"Mother, father" she said
"My child" the Queen almost broke to tears "What did they do to you?" She knew she wasn't really her best, even if she had her clothes
"They didn't do anything, mother" She tried to dispel the mental image of herself begging to be assfucked just that morning "At least... sorry, let me begin again. Mother, father, I would like you to meet Captain Scro. He is a veteran of..." she had much to say of his deeds and valors, precise and mindful of every detail "he is my husband"
"You already have a husband. or a fiance. We chose him for you, Liandra, you know that" Her father was stiffly not looking at his daughter´s husband. She just then noticed the magical ring on his finger, and knew her half truths were pristine and clear to him. She cursed herself a fool, she should have remembered that. But another plan came to her mind.
"... and what use is that? Already I am claimed, I have lived as Scro´s wife for the last several days." She saw it hurt them, but they had to see it. "And everyone knows it. All you can do is chose if I am still the daughter you love, or a stranger you hate."
There was a tense silence, and it was the king that broke it, spreading his arms, and walking to embrace the princess "I would forgive you always, anything. You ask me much" she felt him kiss her forehead "but I will grow to accept it. He finally lifted his eyes enough to see the Orcs that accompanied her. And to her horror, she felt her father´s prick hardening at the sight of their muscular, exposed chests.
"You will have your wedding, Liandra darling. And your friends can come too".
Happily ever after?
