The light subsides as I thrust my hand forward; a human hand, one without claw nor scale. Along with a new body; a newly refreshed mind has cleared its way into my skull, full of knowledge of this perfected form. Urgog, having leapt towards me, seems utterly baffled by what he sees. What comes next does so even more.

"Mimic!"

My outstretched arm is covered by a spectral blue slime; swirling into the shape of a tube, before settling, and taking on the full appearance of a cannon.

"High Yield!"

*KA-KRACK-BOOM*

My Other is blasted way, slamming into the far wall of the Arena, embedding him into the stone; a hole the size of a human torso left in his gut. Even as the wound quickly closes, the shocked look on his face remains. Dispelling the cannon, I look down at my hand; fist clenched tightly. These... these are His hands. With my fight partially delayed, I stride calmly over to Un-Oz; cradling a wounded, and **** Zana.

It hurts... my stomach...

I lean down to my dear friend; my family. Taking a hold of her, I whisper to her my new Utterances, careful not to wake her from her well deserved rest.

"Heal; Divine"

"Trick of the Trade."

A golden glow envelops Zana, as a horrid, black substance flows out of her body, and into me. Thankfully, Ariel's Feather has my back; diffusing the poison I had taken. The Stitch Woman looks at me with tearful eyes; wordless, and confused, she continues to hold her Other, protecting her.

Turning round, I see Urgog, still embedded in the stone, shocked at what he had seen. I crack my neck in anticipation, crouching low; gathering strength in my legs. I had something to do, first; I breath deeply...

"Worgenfaust; Hare Form!"

The spectral appearance of long, powerful legs envelops my own two limbs. Rather than jumping directly at my opponent, I leap backwards; flipping around, and impacting with the opposite side of the Arena. There, I find Ariel's manifestation, still working desperately to heal is last remaining family member. Sliding down the wall, I crouch down to the bloodied Gabriella; speaking gently.

"Heal; Divine."

Brother... Why...

The gushing blood ceases its flow, as wounds external, and internal, stitch closed. The panicked, shaking Ariel looks up to me, a newfound look of determination.

"Kick his ass."

I smile, nodding. With another leap, I'm flying above my family amidst their battles with Urgog's remaining forces. Ashes, after quickly lopping the head from Bose's body, was rushing down the Bandaged Woman with help from Scott; the Maniac Mummy moaning and cackling with every slash or stab to her body. Sammy, Cilla, and Eve were facing off with Halicarnassus. Trixie... where is she? I don't have time to think on it, as my target comes zooming into focus.

Just as Urgog fully pulls himself from the wall, I land my plummeting kick into his head; sending it diving directly into the ground. On impact, the Orc's skulls audibly cracks, as blood gushes from a new wound on his head; quickly sealing closed. He responds with a punch to my gut, sending me skittering across the Arena; giving him space to cast his Incantation, singing it as he stomps his feet.

"Flagons raised, fear erased."

"Strength of old and new."

"Your face, soon is paste."

"Smoke of Highland Yew."

From his fiery tattoo, an inferno erupts; spewing smoke out as a cover, which coats our corner of the Arena entirely. I active God's Eye, only to find it utterly ineffective; this Smoke is extremely potent. Every breath I take makes me feel woozy; funny even. Focusing is difficult, but not impossible, and so I breathe deeply; releasing an unending flow of white and black Dragon's Fire into the ground. The smoke lifts slightly, the air rising from the heat of my breath; just then, I'm slammed down into the metal floor by a big, green, angry fist. Ice forms around my cheek as I slide across the Arena, but lower vantage allows me to see Urgog's feet. Grasping my chains tightly, I slash outward; calling out-

"Necrotic Shift!"

The chains, being made of a dead material, obey my command; glowing a deathly green. Jolting up at a ninety degree angle, I hear them impact the jaw of Urgog, sending him onto his ass as I stand back up.

"This... this is nothing!" Roars Urgog, who quickly rises to his feet; only to stumble... the floor is moving.

The Arena's floor shifts and changes, rising and falling seemingly at random. Unable to see, I leap up once more; clearing the smoke, and finally clearing my woozy head. From my risen vantage, I see that the entire Arena is changing; with an oddly consistent alteration. The floors beneath Zana, Gabriella, and Citrinas have all begun to sink down. A voice calls out, using the same strange audio system that Hakai was using.

"Oh, don't mind me... just changing a few things here or there." Calls the voice of Mervin; Citrinas Grand Uncle. "You lot don't mind if I bring these three out of your way, do you? Hehehe!"

With that, the flooring beneath the three out-cold "Contestants" falls through, sending them down to presumed safety. While this was a reassuring thought, the strangely shrinking cloud of black smoke was not. The smoke withers and shrinks, before revealing Urgog; sucking it all in, then releasing it in a roar.

"Smoke Shift!"

Acting like a mass of swirling tendrils, the released smoke shoots up towards me; pointed like spears. I wasn't sure if the gas could impale me or not, and I wasn't willing to test it's capability. Fall back to Ruyanei, I call out, unleashing yet more Dragon's Flame to fight off the smoke.

"Stay away from my Family!"

The smoke is quickly consumed by the blaze, with Urgog moving quickly out of the way. The pounding of his heart is panicked; he had no idea of this power, nor did he expect his plan to collapse so completely. I see him rush towards his two remaining allies, taking a hold of Helen in one hand as he sprints.

"On me!" He roars; rushing towards Halicarnassus.

No... She's mine!

I reach towards my Other, calling out-

"Annoyance!"

A bright flash of light occurs just in front of Urgog; blinding him as I land. With a hard kick of my legs, I careen towards the High Succubus.

"Mimic!"

The spectral slime returns, turning into person-sized boxing glove. Finally reaching my target, who looks on in horror as I bulleted towards her. With one mighty blow, she is sent sprawling onto the ground; my legs skidding across the Arena as I come to a stop. ****, rather than dead; the heartbeat of Halicarnassus remains terrified, even in slumber.

"Aaaggghhh!"

My Other stops his advance; roaring all the while as his plans continue to fail.

"I'll be back, Brother!" Calls Urgog, as he pulls something from his floral shorts. "And when we meet again; I'll have grown so much faster... you'll be nothing but a whelp by comparison."

I rush towards my Other, trying to crush him before he can do whatever it is he is attempting. I'm too late, however, as he crushes a swirling stone in his hand; summoning a magical vortex. This portal is open for only half of a second; swirling around the two remaining enemies, and whisking them far away. I skitter across the Arena; carried by my absurd momentum into a face-plant with a wall.

Pulling myself from the stone, I feel the strange light exit my body; the world quickly fading to black...

Thump...

Thump...

Thump...
