Gator hunting

"Tenko! Are you alr-" Magical Girl Kumiko gagged at the putrid stench of her fan.

"I'm fine, thanks. But your suit is covered in skunk juice now. I am so sorry, Magical Girl Kumiko. You were so kind to lend me this, and now..."

"Hey, it's alright. You did what you thought was best, and took down Mademoiselle Mufette in the process. You're a hero, Tenko!" Kumiko gave a quick nod, and ran after Gator Gal.

The reptilian fiend took to the streets, running over cars and smashing the pavement so hard it would make Curb Stomper jealous. As the civilians fled from the brute, Kumiko gave chase. She aimed her magic wand at the villainess, "Super Special Magical Girl Kumiko Heart Energy Beam Attack!"

However, Gator Gal moved away too quickly from the beam. "Darn it! I can't hit her when she's like this. She either needs to slow down for a bit, or I have to get closer."

Seeing no way to slow down her opponent, she leaped at Gator Gal, locked her head with Kumiko's legs, and aimed once more. "Super Special Magical Girl Kumiko Heart Energy Beam Attack!"

This time, it hit her. But she never fired her wand at such a short range before, not knowing what the blast would do to herself.
