Like A Roller-coaster

I run towards the Ultra Elemental Slime Ruler and the three Greater Acidic Slimes that are guarding it. Luna and Innu follow about two feet behind me. I see the slimes stop as they reach the end of their march. They start to turn around so I cast Create Fire. I raise my left hand and create a giant hand of flames. The hand is easily bigger than me, at about ten feet tall. I use it to hit the Slimes. The Ruler Slime is in the center of the Acidic Slimes so I create a hole in the hand. This way, I can shove the Acidic Slimes away. My hand hits the Slimes and I ball it into a fist. I pull back and toss the Slimes behind me. I can sense both Innu and Luna turn around and get further away. I disperse the flames and look at the Slime Ruler. Unlike the Acidic ones, it has a masculine frame. Its chest has abs and the face is well-built. It also has a set of legs, instead of green slime where the legs would've been. Instead of the green coloring the Acidic ones have, it's a mix of red, blue, brown, white, black, and several different shades of those colors. It looks like a rainbow made up of those colors. The Slime Ruler stares at me with its pure white eyes. It doesn't move, just stares at me. I hold my Dark Weapon in my hand and wait. I rush the Slime Ruler and it raises its left hand. Its arm extends to me, its fingers turning into a spear. I dodge to my left and the spear passes my head. I reach the Slime and swing my blade toward its body.

I feel something hit my chest and get knocked to the ground a few feet away. I look back to see its leg in the air. Its foot has been replaced with a sledgehammer. It turns back into a foot and it lowers its leg. I get up and avoid another spear. I cast Demonic Flare and send it at the Slime. The Slimes chest expands and a hole appears. My Demonic Flare passes through and it returns to normal. It raises both its arms and they grow. They drop to the ground and it swings its left arm. It extends like a whip and I jump out of the way. I look back and see a hole in the ground where the whip is. It pulls out and returns to the Slime, leaving a deep hole behind. I dodge the other whip while trying to close the distance. I have to jump back when it sends the first whip at me. Despite not being able to get close I end up smiling. Not because I've made any progress, but because I get a new notification.

I start charging the Slime Ruler again. This time, however, I use Blink to dodge the whips and get close. I cut into the Slime but don't hit a core. I cast Flame Pillar causing the Slime Ruler to be engulfed in flames. Since it's immune to fire, I instead used this to locate the cores. I manage to see them but am surprised at what they're doing. With the Greater Acidic Slimes, their cores moved slowly throughout their bodies. The five cores inside it move at an incredible speed. They move at random paces, even stopping to go the way they just came from. I see the Slime Rulers hand coming toward me. Instead of a hand or fist, it's another sledgehammer. I Blink away while stopping my Flame Pillar. The Slime Rulers body lets off some steam. But as predicted, it hasn't taken any damage from my flames. Its hand returns to normal as it steps forward. I start trying to think of ways to locate the cores but can't think of any. If the cores keep moving at fast random intervals, then I'll have to destroy chunks of the Slime Rulers body. It should take an hour to regenerate one core, so this should work. The only problem is my MP. I still have 1,482 MP left but in order to destroy it, I'll have to use Annihilation magic, Ancient Beast magic, or my Darkness schools magic. But my Darkness school doesn't have the destructive spells I need to blow it apart. Those Schools are going to use a lot of MP. That's going to cut it close. I think before charging the Slime Ruler again. Its arms start to extend again. But instead of turning into whips, they each turn into a sword's blade. The blade starts just past its elbows. It rushes me at a speed I didn't think possible. It moves almost as fast as the Werewolf did. It raises one of its arms over its head as we get close. It swings it down and I block it. The **** of it hits me hard. If my Dark Weapon couldn't be removed from me, I might dropped it from the ****. It swings its other sword arm at my exposed side. I Blink forward, right behind the Slime Ruler. I turn around, just in time to duck under its sword arm. It was aiming right for my neck. I jump back to put some distance between us and sigh.

Rare Material Drop

I smile a little upon getting this notification. I don't know if it was the girls slaying another Slime. Or if it was something else. But I remember a spell I haven't used much that should be great here. I rush the Slime Ruler again. I dodge the first attack and block the second. It swings its free sword arm at me and I step back. I reach out with the palm of my hand facing the Slime Ruler. I cast Devour and have it consume the Slime whole. I can see the ground get torn up from the sides as it eats its legs. Slime gets thrown out the sides as its jaw closes.
